I purchased this for my Motor Home as a upgrade to a old analog TV I choose a Insignia 32 inch LED HDTV because of the light weight. I was unsure of Insignia because I was unfamiliar with the brand. I was told by the sales person that it was made for Best Buy. I am glad that I chose it. The picture is outstanding and the price was right.

I was unfamiliar with the name but...

I came across this brand totally by accident! One night my living room television just took a dive on me. I immediately went to BestBuy, in search of a replacement. I should tell you that this was many years ago before flat screens were out! So the television I bought that night was a 32" with the enormous back and weighed a ton! In any event, I saw a pretty nice TV that I was interested in, but, hesitant to buy because I had never heard of the brand "Insignia". I found a salesperson and that was really the only question I wanted (needed!) an answer for. The picture quality was nice, the overall look was very nice but, that name.. it was a bit of a deterrent. Was it generic? Was it new? I couldn't get passed the unknown name, it was almost a deal breaker, in my mind. I wanted to go with the name brands I knew. Sony, Sharp, Toshiba, JVC.. ok, you get the point. But then I remembered back in the 70's taking a chance on a relatively unknown (at the time) brand called GoldStar. That TV lasted forever! It was a 12 or 13" black and white TV I had in my bedroom. So, I was starting to warn to the idea of this "Insignia" brand. So, I asked the one nagging question to the salesperson, "What, where or who owns this brand? I've never heard of it before!" It was then that I learned it was a brand exclusive to BestBuy, There you had it.. BestBuy's brand. I bought that first one and never looked back! That is typically my "go to" brand now. I purchased this flat screen, although I didn't need it. My rather large, clunky, weighty Insignia that I had purchased years before was still in working order (it now sits in my basement, covered with a horse blanket) but I found this one on sale one day and picked it up, figuring it was high time I got with the times and streamlined my television set!

Well priced very easy to set up and use great picture it is the perfect TV for small locations. This is my second time purchasing this brand and it is not because the other one failed I had a small room that I wanted to put another tv into. Very reliable I am not sure how old the other one I have is but it has outlasted my $2300 TV by many years.

Needed a new 32" TV and decided on an Insignia since I had one before and currently was using a 24" one as my TV/Computer monitor. Some time ago I owned an Insignia 32" one and also got one for my girl friend at the time. Have had good luck wth the brand. The colors are good, the controls are simple and it has a fair number of connections. And you can't beat the price. I would recommend an external speaker connection since the TV does sound a bit tinny and distorts easily. Other than that a great buy.

This Insignia TV was purchased specifically for using with the XBox and it works as intended. Other TV's in this price range were not 1080p and this one is. We did not need a "smart tv" because hooking up the console to it, instantly turns it into a smart TV and OTA programming comes in crystal clear in HD when hooked up to an OTA antenna. This is a good TV for a college student to take with them when they transfer to an out of state university. It is light in weight and easily moved by one person to another location. We have it attached to a swivel mount on the wall and the entire set up folds flat when needed and positions easily adjusted for best viewing while gaming from the comfort of the bed or when used as an extra monitor from the desk. We are very pleased with this purchase and time will tell how long this unit will continue to perform as intended.

I purchased this tv to replace my bedroom set that finally died. I am a big Samsung fan and have two in my home right now. I did not want to spend a lot of money on my bedroom tv and decided on this one after reading the positive reviews. I am thoroughly pleased with this tv. It has an excellent picture and it exceeded my expectations immensely. I am considering purchasing another for my spare bedroom. Happy customer and a fan of this Insignia television!!!

I was a little apprehensive about buying the Best Buy store brand, but this set surprised me. The color and picture quality is superior to other brands within the same price range. The set up was simple, and the remote works great for my elderly mother in-law. Even though it has 60Hz refresh rate the images don't blur badly. She won't be using a Blu-ray, but the full 1080P shows up nicely with her cable provider.

I was in need of a TV for my wife's office. This was a great price for the size and quality. This is not a smart TV as it has a Wii and Xbox connected and has no needed for the extra functions at the extra price. The picture is clear and vivid, the TV is ridiculously light in weight, and the stand is very sturdy. Only down side is there are only 2 HDMI inputs and a 3rd would be nice. I would buy again and would recommend to a friend or family member.

The Insignia 32 inch LED - HDTV is just what I was looking for. Although not a brand name, my Insignia TV matches the brand name TVs in quality and features but at a lower price point. This is especially true for TVs with 1080p. I further like the feature which allows me to easily adjust the sound, channels and turn on/off the TV without the remote. The other makes I looked at either lacked this feature or it was not easy to use.

I already bought a couple better samsung Smart TV's that will be viewed more often, but needed an additional mid size TV. This TV is great for the money, the picture quality is good for 1080 but does need to be viewed more straight on to the screen than toward the side otherwise it is dark and colors are not as good. I am happy with the sound and functions, was easy to connect and go with my cable box and I don't have issues with the box and TV competing for was resolution or size like I sometimes see with my Samsung. I can't stress it, for an additional TV this is the way to go because of the price and still getting a good quality TV that I feel will have a good life span.

This tv is great for the price we paid. It has 1080p and costs about the same as lower quality tvs. The picture is very sharp. Setting the details is very easy and intuitive. The tv is very light weight and easy to care for.

Followed "Quick Setup Guide." Powered up and followed on-screen instructions. No sound. Raised volume from 0 to about 90. Nothing. Rechecked connections. No luck. Went to online support & service for user guide. Found warranty but nothing else. Tried final trick - lowered volume to 0 and raised all the way. When volume reached 100 the sound came on loud. Backed down to about 40 and now everything works fine. Good picture. Very light weight set. Well worth the price.

This is my second Insignia TV. We have a big one in the family room, but wanted a smaller one for the living room. This 32 inch screen is perfect. It doesn't take over the whole room, but is big enough. Very happy with picture quality and ease of set up.
