The remote turns on and off this tv and another tv that is not insignia or fire?!!! Also the TV turns on and off all on it’s own after we have shut it off and have not used any other TV remotes? The worst part when we try to utilize the remote to select prgramming it scrolls multiple pages when only lightly clicked once… etc. its so difficult to search ANYTHING you want to watch. Quite maddening and I hope the company sees this review and helps!!!! I will try contacting and hope they are a company that wants their brand name to stand for something good. It’s got a great quality picture, and otherwise great TV so far but we can barely use it bc we can’t search anything before going crazy!

We recently had become so tired of sharing a tv with our 7 year old daughter. We don’t pay the high price for cable television anymore. Now that we have the Amazon Firestick, we can watch all of our favorite shows and movies on Amazon Prime, Hulu and Netflix which leaves us alot of money. Our daughter is 7 now and she has quite a few of her own interests when it comes to TV shows and movies these days. It was becoming a bit of a power struggle for the TV at times to say the least. We started looking into it and decided to go TV shopping at Best Buy and get our daughter a TV of her own. We wanted something that would stream all of our current subscriptions and would also connect to the internet easily and wirelessly. That’s when the sales associate at Best Buy showed us the Insignia 32” Class Smart HDTV Fire TV edition. The associate advised us that it was on sale for a really reasonable price, it had great customer reviews and best of all, it had all of the connectivity options that we were hoping for! For an added bonus, we were even able to set up parental controls on it so that we are able to regulate and monitor the time our daughter spends watching TV. Needless to say we are extremely impressed so far with the Insignia 32” Class LED 720p Smart HDTV Fire TV edition we purchased from Best Buy. I think I can speak for our little one when I say, she is too! Thanks Best Buy!

We purchased two of these TVs for our toddlers' rooms. They satisfy every need of our kids. It would probably not suit an adult who would be more focused on video quality (its only 720p) but for kids who just want to watch cartoons and movies, its perfect. The Fire TV is a major bonus as we can set up their profiles with parental controls. Great quality for the value.
