A good value
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is a good value. It’s not the greatest in the world and can be a bit slow and glitchy, but overall, we’re pretty happy with what we got for the price.

Fantastic picture quality
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is perfect for a small bedroom or dorm room. It only weighs a few pounds and is very easy to mount on a wall. The popular stuff is built-in...Netflix, Hulu, etc. The picture quality is excellent. It has vivid colors and great contrast.

College gift
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very good quality product. I’m impressed with the ease of its features. Having all the stream channels included is great. I thought 32” would be too small; it is perfect for my son’s apartment living area where TV is.

Insignia 32" LED Smart Fire TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quick start, great clarity, great 'blackness' and contrast. Like that it has bluetooth. Only thing I dislike is that I cannot make it default to HDMI 1 to obtain my cable guide....I have to go to HDMI 1 to find the "what's on guide" for my cable. Overall a good value for the money. I bought this TV to replace an older flat-panel that I'd had for years when it developed a white cloud in the upper right quarter of the screen that was apparent in all modes. I hope when this TV gets to be 3 or 4 years old it does not develop the same problem.

Still working 3 years later, No WiFi Issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a version of this TV for my mom and I in December 2018 while it was on sale for ~ $120. It is now August 2021 and it is still working great! We love it and couldn't be happier! I was initially worried about purchasing because I read all the negative reviews before purchasing something, and most of the negative reviews referenced the TV dropping WiFi frequently and disconnecting from Netflix. However, those negative reviews were only a teeny portion of all the reviews and the item still had a 4.6-ish rating so I went for it! I am so glad I went for it! It was super easy to set up, and my 50-year-old mom who is not super tech-savvy is able to use it with no issues with our cable box attached via HDMI. We initially had no issues with WiFi connectivity but a few months in, we began having connectivity issues and the cursed Netflix drops. However, I refused to believe that the TV was the issue. And IT WAS NOT! I called Spectrum and they let us know our modem was waaay out of date (like, it was the same modem that they had given us when they first set up our WiFi in 2011). They sent us a new modem... The issue did not resolve itself, so I realized that if our modem was out of date, our router was probably out of date as well, since we got them at the same time. When I purchased a new router (Netgear Nighthawk) for like $70, our WiFi issue disappeared and we had better WiFi than ever before! The moral of the story/review is that the people who had issues with WiFi connectivity likely needed new gear and the TV just brought out this need for new gear because they likely had not been using much of their WiFi before getting the TV. I know we weren't. We were only using our laptops and cell phones on wifi and actually had issues with that but dealt with it (i.e., made sure that only 1 person was using the WiFi at a time when we were doing important tasks). The picture is great on the TV. We enjoy being able to use our Amazon account to buy things on the TV (especially when we get Amazon digital points for using the slower shipping options instead of 1-day prime shipping). [disclaimer: I am getting 25 Best Buy points for this review, but my opinion is in no way influenced by this, as I only saw the points for the review because I am about to buy a second one of these Insignia Fire TVs for my new home since I'm moving out]

Great TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This television set is great for watching in the kitchen. Doesn't take up a lot of space and the picture is okay. We had problems with the screen color at first but found out that with this type of tv you have to purchase a separate remote control. For the price, you get what you pay for. There are things that we can't do on here because of the brand "Insignia" and because we have comcast infinity as our wifi provider. This tv doesn't come with all the features that samsung or a roku tv does but it works. The last tv we had must have weighed 300 lbs but the picture was the same size. This is very convenient and lightweight in handling. Setting it up took some time, though. All in all, it is a great tv.

What TV’s should be…easy
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These tv’s are great options for getting a flexible and cost friendly display device in place. I’ve used these as alternate tv room options and enjoyed the quality of control Amazon enables these devices to use, can set parental controls and have simple or advanced setups. Use your phone to control with remote app and plug-n-play easy setups no extra cords or devices needed just power.

Bought this a while back and love it!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's been about a year since I’ve had this and its great! Good quality sound and picture and a decent price too judging by the fact that mine also came with a free echo which I use daily. I will say that I wish I knew how to adjust the brightness but I'll admit I've not looked too closely at how to do that.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this TV for my daughter. Same TV as her mom but only smaller. Good Quality for the Price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a nice HDTV for the money. The picture quality and sound quality are very good for a small set, and it's extremely lightweight. The TV software defaults to the home screen when you turn the TV on, but you can change the settings so that it starts at a specific HDMI connection (e.g., the cable TV connection). Another issue that I haven't been able to solve is that after turning the TV on with my cable remote, I get a message that the TV doesn't detect the TV remote. This requires me to push a button on the TV remote to clear the message. It's not a big issue, but I generally operate my TVs using only my cable remote, so it's a nuisance to have to clear that message.

Very pleased
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m in love with this TV even though it’s just 32” it’s relatively a decent size esp to be a smart TV. Set up went smoothly, it has hundreds of things to watch even though most of them on there you have to pay for and be a member of Hulu, Netflix, and prime to watch the majority of things on there. You can still find things on the smart TV to watch for free! Including YouTube! As long as you connect your WiFi internet to the tv. It also comes with Alexa voice where you can talk into the remote which gives you hands free action, ask Alexa to tell you your favorite celebrities biographies! I got a kick out of that. It’s a very cool smart TV I haven’t seen a tv this cool since the 90’s.
