Putting home back in order after massive damage from tree crashing through roof. TV Still in box. Have not set up the tv yet. Bought the tv because it was such a good deal!

Tv works great...some days. Other days, not so much. I’ll be watching something on Hulu and the tv will reset back to the main screen. Multiple times during one 30 min episode. Or it’ll freeze up and take 20-30 mins to unfreeze. I haven’t even had it for 6 months yet. I’m switching back to Vizio.

I have my TV in my bedroom it’s good for one person not really a living room setting. Not sure if cable works well but for sure it’s a TV if you have a lot of streaming services.

I bought this for our kitchen and it has done well. My only issue would be that it doesn’t have screen mirroing but for what we use it for it does just fine.

Nice TV, but they need to make it so you can access all movie and tv apps. Love the convenience of not having to use my phone to cast.

Fatal flaw dooms otherwise nice concept

Love the Fire TV concept, especially voice operated volume and function control. But this unit has a serious software bug that keeps trying and failing a system software update. An endless loop of re-downloading the update burned through 10 Gb the first 12 hours it was on (it has a built in data monitor which you can activate). After wasting a day on calls back and forth with Amazon (which is where the on screen help menu sends you) I was told to exchange the apparently defective unit for a new one. But the replacement unit had the same endless loop of failed update downloads. If Amazon/Best Buy fixes this flaw I would be very happy with this TV. The Alexa integration is super cool and performance is otherwise quite good, especially at its low price.

I bought this TV to replace an old RCA TV. It has fire TV already built into it. The only thing it is really really slow. You can connect the ethernet port unlike the Toshiba TV but this TV is slower than Toshiba.
