It is a good quality basic tv for a fair price. She didn't need a smart tv because her blue ray player handled that for her.

Only complaint is that it isn't working that good on VHF with rabbit ears, but does fine on UHF, so I'll have to put an antenna in the attic and report back. Good value when on sale. A BIG DEAL to me that I like is this has a straight in power cord- no stupid AC adapter power supply that you have to stuff somewhere- that sealed the deal for me.
