Works OK, but only OK

When this came on sale, I thought it was just the thing. Its package and directions say this is supposed to be a 720p, but all I can get is 480 (I think). The picture is good and so far and it has worked every time I have turned it on. For the price, it is a pretty good deal. Hanging on the wall in my shop, it is a little small. I kind of wish I had spent a little more money and purchased a larger one, however.
