Simple is better

So far, she has been able to use the tv without too much effort, unlike the smart tv we previously tried.

She use it and she can see it. This TV is a great choice for someone that does not want a smart TV. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The description in the store different from the packaging regarding the smart apps that were preloaded. No Roku.

Great TV for kitcjens, bedrooms, porches.

I would never buy a cheap "smart" tv. The operating systems are slow and even if they are halfway decent quickly degrade over time. Buy this, plug in a chromecast with google tv or a roky or a firestick, you are good to go. I hope Best Buy keeps selling these "dumb" tvs because they are a smarter choice than "smart" tvs at similar price points.
