Senior Citizen's Alert! Check the i-pad box!

Too bad that the reason I purchased this item (along with the USB cable ... below) was because I had recently purchased the i-pad....had to return to the store to figure out how to open the box....however, it was not shown to me that there was a cable and charger in there which were necessary for separately charging the battery. Difficult for me to believe how being a Senior Citizen and wanting to learn and use technology requires very essential information about how an i-pad works! But, there you have it!!! PLS tell older people what to look for w/in the box.....it is NOT written on the outside! AND, of course, there isn't any little indication via a booklet of Directions/ or FOR YOU INFO. Duh! My lack of understanding that wi-fi use and battery use were two different things led me to return to the store & ask for items to charge the battery..So, I purchased these two items being reviewed on this page and costing:!! (No one, during my 4 visits had mentioned "look in the box, NOR that they come w/i-pad and are NEEDED to charge battery.)
