Definitely not heavy duty, but as long as you don't try to use it outdoors on a windy day, it works fine.

This little umbrella is well-suited to my hobby "studio" setup. It is sturdy enough for the occasional use I'd put it to. It can be used for either a reflective bounce light source (with the cover on) or diffuser. I use it with a speedlight on a light stand. It is a nice addition to my mobile lighting kit.

This is a good value item. It has the white diffusion layer; it has the shiny layer; and it can be reversed for ultimate diffusion. It's certainly worth the money. I recommend it. It breaks down to under 24" and is 33" when open, making it quite useful for close up photography and movie making.

Perfect for head shots

Nice umbrella for head shots. I do like that it can be used as to bounce the light or as a shoot through to soften the light. This can also be used as a hair light with the black shell removed. May be to small for a full body shot due to its size.

I was unaware that this was even on convertible umbrella. That means you can switch between reflective silver black and white. At first I was upset that I didn't get the right item but now I am plenty happy!

I needed a smaller inexpensive dual layer umbrella and this is just that. The metal rod is a bit soft and already has dents in it after one use. It fits nicely in my bag . Gets the job done.
