i love it, how it tells when to remove the water, easy to use

excellent product, had a water leak in the house. dehumidefier removed all the dampness right away.

This is my second one. Very reliable and easy to operate. Ideal for what I need.

This item works as advertised. It's amazing how much difference a decrease in humidity makes in the comfort of a room. The only thing I don't like is that it blows hot air.

Bought this cautiously, not really expecting good results, but was surprised to see that after just 8 hours in a medium sized room, it collected a decent amount of water. The real problem was the fact that me, being unaware that dehumidifiers give off heat from the exhaust vent, couldn’t deal with the extra heat in 80 degree weather. If it weren’t for that, I would have kept it. Also, it gives off a buzzing sound kind of like an indoor ac unit.

This dehumidifier works great for our basement. Large area and when running continuously makes a huge difference in a short amount of time.

It’s been a super rainy year and for the first time our basement has been musty and icky. This nice little dehumidifier has done a great job at drying out the air and preventing mold. It’s simple and quiet and really easy to empty.

Our basement has been a little...musky. We’ve had this running most days for a few weeks now and I can definitely tell the difference. Easy to order, delivered quickly and in great shape, got it unpacked and plugged in within minutes. We had an older dehumidifier in our previous home that was loud and it blew hot air. This one is very quiet in comparison and the fan blows room temp. Wish it came with the hose so I didn’t have to empty I, but we’re working on getting one.

Works great. Good value and super easy to set up. I use it in a large basement and it dries it out very quickly.

Dehumidifier works great! Easy to use. Not sure how quiet it is since I’m rarely in the basement, but just in passing it seems much quieter than our previous one. Very sleek design looks good, but does make it more of a challenge to grab the bucket when emptying. Would recommend if you’re looking for a budget friendly option.

Now I understand why some reviews said it fills the bucket at first, but then produces no water. I believe that the coolant leaks a little from the time of purchase. The indicator shows the humidity goes down (from maybe 60 to 45), but the bucket hasn't filled more than ½ inch since the first month I owned it after days of having it shut off, and more days of running again. The fan runs for an eternity after the compressor shuts off, helping the electric bill increase and making me crazy with the continual noise. It should produce lots of water (like it did the first couple of weeks), as I live on the TX coast, with temps of 99.5° and dewpoint of 75°. At least you might say it is self-sufficient, because it must be recycling the water into the air and never makes me empty the bucket.

Good basement dehumidifier. Especially for the price. Quiet and easy to clean filter.

I have three dehumidifiers smaller than this. In our humid apartment we used to run all three for 24 hours. Filling the tanks (30-80 oz) takes almost five days and humidity was not changed. This dehumidifer is noisy, but it works. This actually decreases humiditiy to <45% from ~75% in a few hours. Filling 35-pint tank takes half day or less. This is noisy and bigger (than I expected), but this actually works. Others are calm, but do not help. Highly recommended if you are really suffer from humidity.

Pretty good unit. Stops when the water compartment is full. Auto continues when you empty it.

Works as advertised. Excellent timer feature for both start and stop. Quiet operation, good buy for price I paid ($120). Selected because of auto defrost feature. Over 4 years last two 50 pint units I bought both stopped working. It appears they lost refrigerant which probably resulted from the condenser coils icing up and cracking over time. Plus I got a 4 year warranty for $44. Couldn't go wrong with this buy although I wish it was 50 pint.

We had no idea how high the humidity was in the basement until we got this dehum. It was pulling out 2 gallons overnight reqiring emptying every morning. Now it is draining directly into the floor drain. Now it is comfortable and dry. We got this dehum on a BestBuy deal of the day and could not be happier.

Very nice dehumidifier. Much quieter than the one I had to replace.
