Works great only change I liked to see is a blinking light when bucket is full so it can be seen from a distance. Other brands have this option, not a big deal but it would be handy. Comes well packaged and very easy to set up.

I have three dehumidifiers smaller than this. In our humid apartment we used to run all three for 24 hours. Filling the tanks (30-80 oz) takes almost five days and humidity was not changed. This dehumidifer is noisy, but it works. This actually decreases humiditiy to <45% from ~75% in a few hours. Filling 35-pint tank takes half day or less. This is noisy and bigger (than I expected), but this actually works. Others are calm, but do not help. Highly recommended if you are really suffer from humidity.

This has done great to bring down my humidity in my condo. Very comfortable living now.

Good unit functions good so far. Good price best way is to use hose it does collect a lot of water when humid.

Dehumidifier had done a great job clearing the moisture out of the air. Easy to operate.

Works as advertised. Excellent timer feature for both start and stop. Quiet operation, good buy for price I paid ($120). Selected because of auto defrost feature. Over 4 years last two 50 pint units I bought both stopped working. It appears they lost refrigerant which probably resulted from the condenser coils icing up and cracking over time. Plus I got a 4 year warranty for $44. Couldn't go wrong with this buy although I wish it was 50 pint.

We had no idea how high the humidity was in the basement until we got this dehum. It was pulling out 2 gallons overnight reqiring emptying every morning. Now it is draining directly into the floor drain. Now it is comfortable and dry. We got this dehum on a BestBuy deal of the day and could not be happier.

Love this dehumidifier, plan and simple. Work like a charm, really helps with heat in garage. I use the water to water my plants. It is win-win

Excellent product and reasonably priced. Controls humidity for and entire second floor in Florida and a second unit controls the humidity in an unairconditioned three car Florida garage. Economical to operate.

This unit Works great honestly no problems at all!

I was looking for a dehumidifier to remove moisture in the basement. I found this on the Best Buy website. It was a good price and available for quick pickup. I found it very easy to set up. I like the adjustable settings.

I am amazed at how well this super quiet humidifier works! It has been 60 % or better humidity in my small apartment. Everything was damp or sticky… The place even smells great. This is a quality machine and it has the Energy Star Rating. It was on sale so I gave it a shot. I usually opt for the lowest price and glad I didn’t this time:)

Does a great job. We don't yet have a permanent drain solution so we are dumping the reservoir a couple times a day. It isn't too loud and we are happy with how it has helped our home feel.

This actually has been working extremely well. Our basement os much, much dryer.

I have purchased a few dehumidifiers in the past few years. None of them seem to last very long. This purchase was made hastily as it was needed immediately so I qualify this review with the knowledge that this unit may not have a large enough capacity for the room in which it was purchased. It was added as a second home dehumidifier as my ductwork was all sweating and dripping in the section of my basement near where the AC. It dripped into my clothes drying causing the electrical and sensors to fail. I replaced the dryer and wanted to protect it. I have lived in my house for 25 years and never had this issue before. (Probably will need to replace the AC unit soon) The dehumidifier does its job but the bucket needed to be emptied multiple times a day which made it run continuously when the bucket wasn’t full and stop when no one was around to empty it which defeated it’s purpose. The bucket was hard to replace after emptying which is something I have found with this brand. I eventually purchased a hose and now run the water directly into my sump which has made it work well and shut off when the humidity reaches the settings. It’s a good unit for the price and may have gotten a higher rating if I had time to find a more appropriate size unit for that room and situation. I do feel that removing and replacing the bucket should be easier as I have found it to be with other brands.

This thing works great and is pretty efficient. Insignia brand has never let me down.
