Works. Wish I didn't have to buy it during the summer when the price goes up. Will up your electric bill but 100 degree weather is apparently common now, so no choice. Electric company execs are gonna be buying new yachts after this summer.

The INSIGNIA 12,000 BTU portable unit is the best purchase decision I ever made for this crazy hot summer. It cools down my 250sqft. bedroom under 15 minutes or less. I love it.

Since i bought my insignia portable air conditioner my room has stayed cool, even on hottest days i come home and get to relaxed. I love it.

This is a really good portable AC. Easy set up. My air handler went out on a Saturday, I’m here in south Texas so it’s really hot. I got this one to get by for one room, it cools it off In minutes. Then next day I got another one another room just to be safe. Again easy set up…these 106 degree hot days we use it to cool down a room for a bit, it’s awesome.

I just set this up and am pleased with how quick it cooled down the bedroom. Machine is not too loud compared to other portable AC units I’ve had in the past. I will say that for the amount you pay, their brackets and parts should come in better shape. I the parts out of the box and found the part that goes on the window already slightly broken. Luckily I could still use it as is but for the price you pay I expect the parts to not look like this.

I love it! I had a cheaper portable ac unit that gave out within a month so I decided to look for something different and this ended up being such a great purchase. It cools the room down quickly without being too terribly noisy. If you’re on the fence, don’t! This has helped keep up cool during these summer months.

Very simple installation, I just installed it in my attic as it’s my only space for a movie theater. It’s already 5 degrees colder and less humid! It didn’t really fit my window but it comes with airtight seals you can use to make it fit. If you cut too much they give you extra. Love it

I have now purchased 3 of these. I love them. Easy to install and also remove when not using it. Makes a significant difference on my apartment and works better than the wall unit I currently have. Loved so much I purchased one for my parents. Highly recommend.

Our downstairs HVAC system needed a new blower motor right in the middle of the 105*+ heat in Texas. Since it would take about a week for the part to be available, shipped and installed by the HVAC technician, we bought this unit to use in the master bedroom to keep the room cool, especially at night while sleeping. This thing worked PERFECTLY! We kept the bedroom and bathroom doors closed, cranked this thing on and were perfectly comfortable (including our pup!). Now that the HVAC is unit is fixed, we decided to keep using this at night so the room is cooling a little more efficiently along with the central A/C unit. Highly recommend!

The unit is perfect I cools down the room the only bad thing is, it came with a broken wheel, but it so funny the reviews I saw before I bought it saying, doesn’t cool a room doesn’t blow cold enough and I thought, come on people what do you want??? Get a small unit a cool off an entire house? Or open all the windows and still keep the house fresh?? Or you wanna freeze your house??? The unit like I said is perfect my room is 14.9 x 14ft and it gets really cold, it’s a little bit loud but makes the same noise like any other window a/c, simply happy with my purchase, and by the way out there is 94F and the a/c works amazing…

It’s the best product I can buy, this keeps small room perfectly cool in summers. Very good quality and functions well ,its east to move.

This ac unit is a bit louder than ktgwrs but it beats the heat any day, i was also happy that it came with horizontal window friendly seals. It only takes about 10 minutes for it to lower the temp of the room also.

This ac is just what I needed. It takes about 2 hours to cool down an apartment sized living room. My unit is 750 sq ft. Also, it’s a tad noisy.

Love love this portable AC! It is eay to use and really made the room so cold I can have a polar bear with me!! Being in Texas it is essential for a room that doenst have AC please get !!
