    We bought this TV for retro gaming, as well - wanting a bigger display. Pro's of going with a different brand, the TV's aren't sharing the remote control, as we kept turning the TV on & off with two LG's in the same room. So far it's great, lightweight & decent picture quality. Again we bought this, specifically to retro game, and it's meeting those needs!
