Perfect! My tablet now charges with no problems! I was afraid that since it was a Samsung Tab II I would not be able to replace cord! The Samsung employees within Best Buy were extremely helpful and complimentary, {This was the original cord and I still have the original plug. apparently unusual. :) } With the Jan 15, no question return, it was perfect, however it did not get returned and I am very happy!

So excited to have finally found this in store. Sad to say, but the children wear and tear accessories to their hand held gadgets all the time. And by the time you go to replace them its been years and the items are hard to find because of the newer styles out. But with luck, and shopping at one of my favorite stores, I was able to purchase the replace.

I must have left the power cord for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 in a hotel so I needed to get a replacement. This cord did not have the AC power end on it but I had a spare plug from my Samsung S4 phone so plugging the USB end of this cord into my extra plug did the trick. I haven't used it much since I don't use my tablet much but so far so good.

One thing I have learned from my purchase is that no matter what cable you use, whether it is the OEM Samsung cable or the Insignia brand cable, the most important part is the adaptor that plugs into the wall. While commonly thought to all provide the same solution to your charging needs, each one of these adaptors have a different voltage/amperage. For example, I purchased this cable and tried to use it with an adaptor that only charged at 3.6V/0.5A and it did not produce enough power for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 to recognize a charge (If I left the unit on the charger long enough it would never say that it was officially charging on screen, however, over about a 12 hour period it would give me about 75% charge). I needed to ensure that the adaptor I used said something closer to 5.3V/2.0A. Honestly I think the true key here is the AMPs so if there is one thing I've learned, make sure you are using the correct adaptor to charge your device or the cable isn't going to make a difference.

When my tablet charger started to fray at the base I had to get a new one. This product actually charged my tablet faster than the one that was damaged( before it was damaged) and I haven't had any problems with it.
