I miss the simple settings of dry level and temperature settings. This has types of clothe setting but does not give any temperature settings and the minimum amount of time it can run is 30 minutes. It does the job but missing simple options I would have expected.

Bought this Dec 2022 and the door latch broke. Can't find parts!! Would not recommend this brand! Cloths have a damp smell if not gotten out of the dryer immediately and it takes longer to dry them than with vented dryers.

ALL HAIL THE HEAT PUMP DRYERS! Everyone hates having to clean out their dryer vents. You neglect it for months or even years, and it turns into a fire risk. Well kiss that stress goodbye. Heat pump dryers are excellent in their efficiency, are ultra quiet, and so much easier to maintain. No more need to pull your dryer away from the wall to empty out all the dust bunnies. This dryer has an easy front accessible door that comes off without any tools, and all you do is empty it into a trashcan and give it a quick run over with your vacuum and you're done. The only additional thing is needing to empty the water reservoir after every 2-3 loads. For all of you who have live plants around your house, this is actually a HUGE plus. I have several, and instead of having to go fill up a container of tap water. I can always rely on and guarantee that my water reservoir has plenty of water to water all my plants! Its amazing. And with zero need to turn on your faucet, you're actually being even more efficient and less wasteful with your water! If you don't want to do the reservoir thing, and you have a connection for it, you can have automatic water emptying through a drain pipe. Anyway, this dryer works like any other heat pump dryer, and it has all the positives (and some of the cons). The only real 2 cons: 1) You need to "learn" how to use it with your expectations. Clothes will feel "wet" when coming out of the dryer immediately, but they are NOT WET. Its because its in humid air. When you hear the dryer finish, literally just empty the dryer and let the clothes sit for 5-10 minutes, and then they will actually feel dry. OR just open the door. The only time items will actually still be a little wet is if you overpack it. But that happens on normal gas dryers as well. 2) Takes longer than gas dryers. If you're one of those people that, for some reason, always have to have your clothes perfectly dried immediately within 30 minutes, this may not be for you. But on a normal cycle, the 1.5 hours will do the job right, you just have to be patient. There is a 30 minute cycle that will work for a small number of items that need a quick dry. I have tried that and it works well. Outside of those two things, I love this dryer. Its quiet. Efficient. Plenty of space for 1-2 people. And small dimensions means it can fit pretty much anywhere. I got a 5 year geeksquad warranty on this and I am confident that this will be working just fine for years to come. I would definitely buy it again. Especially at this price!

Compact unit that packs a punch! pretty quiet and closthes get dry pretty close to a standard dryer.

FABULOUS!! We needed a dryer that could fit into a small space but we did not have a vent. This worked so well for us. This is a compact dryer and does not need a vent. The air recycles and does not heat up the area like a regular dryer would. I highly recommend this dryer. Ruth

So far this dryer works great. Like the fact that you don’t need a vent to the outside. Not sure if it for the energy star rebate.

Though smaller, which we knew up front, than a vented dryer it does a very good job on drying. While it does run a little longer, the clothes get warm/hot and dry nicely. The lint filter is very fine mesh and will impede the airflow if not cleaned after each load. Emptying the water container after each load take maybe 30 seconds and we use it on our plants, We'll see about durability as time goes on. So far we really enjoy the unit.

What a great solution for a tight space and it can be placed anywhere. I purchased it for a thought slack and it has all the features of a stackable washer dryer only the the dryer doesn’t require a vent. Great concept!

I have had this machine for about a month now & it's working great. The ventless drying is different from what I'm used to, but it's neat. It's a small machine, but has decent capacity.

Washer and dryer installed. Noticed a stress crack on the top right corner of the dryer, but figured the unit was good because it looked like a manufacturing issue but may have been dropped before it was loaded onto the delivery truck. The fan does not turn on...it clicks and makes a buzzing noise. Best buy won't do anything within 24 hours and insignia looks like they want best buy to just do a warranty swap.

Small but still packs a punch in the amount of clothes it can hold. But didn’t notice it didn’t have an exhaust. So that means there a container that accumulates the condensed water and you have to dump that every so often. I didn’t know this until the dryer was acting weird. But all is good now. Just never saw that before.

Exactly what we've been looking for, very compact and efficient just about the right size for our laundry. We bought it a couple of months ago and still no regret. We are super impressed for it size.

We stacked this unit on our 7.3 cu ft front load washer. It can dry a king size comforter (takes 2 cycles) if you're wondering about capacity. Only slight limitation on it is if you have items that need to come out wrinkle free, you can only dry around 6 to 7of them at a time. Otherwise this dryer works great and no lint escaping like a normal tumble dryer creating dust like our old dryer and the energy savings is a huge plus.

We love the dryer. The ventless option is awesome no more cleaning the vents. It has saved money on our electric bill. Plus, so many options on drying and a great price

Fits in smaller space. Still getting used to emptying water tray after each use (like emptying my mom's old dehumidifier). Does take a little longer to dry than vented dryers.

They didnt say it doesnt come with a cord or needs a 30 amp breaker. The guy pointed it out and just said its electric and will fit in tight spaces. Leason learned, dont expect best buy to know anything about their products

Purchased this ventless dryer for a rental property that had no outside vent and stacked it with the Insignia washer. I was worried that a ventless dryer would take a very long time to dry clothes, but it seems to work surprisingly well. Can dry a decent load within an hour to hour and a half. The drain option is great if you have access to a washer standpipe or another drain option -- then you don't have to empty the water reservoir. Great value!

Great for small spaces. Does not pump out a lot of hot air, and dries efficiently
