    i bought this unit for my off grid tiny house. seems insignia is one of the few that publishes amp draw in their specs. anyone that does solar power needs to know amp draw. the unit works great with full sine wave invertor and keeps food cold without a lot of power. would recommend this unit for all the off grid users.

    This is a very nice refrigerator! It arrived on time and undamaged. I don’t usually have many leftovers, so this is nice for deli meats, condiments, salad fixings (best if you can prep first and use Tupperware to store in) and milk. I give it four stars because some of the door storage holders can be difficult to remove and clean; otherwise, this is definitely a very good buy

    The refrigerator served us well while we waited for our Samsung 22 inch fridge. However, although it is named a fridge, it had a tendency to freeze which was quite inconvenient under the circumstances. As a secondary fridge, it dispatches its duties with efficiency (with the correct setting of course).

    We had to replace our 20 year old refrigerator freezer mini frig. This unit fit the space perfectly and gave us more refrigerator space we needed. Without a freezer we no longer need to go through the freezer defrost process. The glass front provides a clean new look.
