Its been excellent so far holding temperature at 40 deg F at the medium setting. Theres no ice build up at all (just frozen droplets). The compressor is very quiet, interior light is a great feature, the setting knob is simple to use and packaging was good (very well protected). I initially purchased the Magic Chef 3.3 Cu. Ft mini fridge with no freezer from home depot and had issues with it from the start (Ice buildup on interior rear wall at med setting, loud compressor, temperature fluctuated +-10 degrees). The Insignia is worth the extra money if your trying to make the decision between the two.

I put inside my walk-in closet since I work from my bedroom great spot for some drinks and some creamer for coffee. Its silent and looks great. A few things to mentioned based on questions I did not see in the reviews -it comes with a flat 3 prong power connector - the manual suggests a whole bunch of breathing room for the fridge - in case you want it inside some cabinets it may not work for you. Or you may want to gamble a bit and see how you feel about it. - Build quality is not the greatest but its not bad, so just keep an eye open when first unpacking this fridge for scratches or dents. So far so good, but I haven't had even a full month so anything goes as of yet. Love it right now.

Mini Frig that is Mighty!

I like that it does not have the small freezer which takes up space. We use it for overflow beverages. We are remodeling a kitchen right now and we are using it as a main frig right now - it is awesome.

Fridge freezes inside…

Unfortunately the interior freezes and water fills the drain. We bought for a beverage fridge and a bit worrisome on the wall freezing. All the manual says is turn it down, when we do then not cold enough… will hit a few more weeks

Wont stop freezing

When I got it set up and plugged it in, it seemed to not turn on...I kept turning it up to finally max and could hear it turn on. I left it for a few hours and could tell it was getting cold. I turned back the setting to med and went ahead and put in all my stuff that I would be using the fridge for. The next morning, most of the stuff was froze. I continue to turn down the temp and now it is on the lowest setting and it still is freezing. I have now had to throw things away. Not sure what to do at this point but return it and go somewhere else.
