I also used it to brine a turkey, with all the shelves pulled out it fit a bucket perfectly so i could brine in a temperature controlled environment. Would definitely recommend

Great mini fridge

When I was in college, I actually used one as my primary fridge. Rough but it can be done. Fortunately, now I actually have a real fridge so this is a nice bonus. The Insignia mini fridge is very sleek and fits the modern aesthetics. As far as size goes, 4.4 cubic feet is on the upper end of size for mini fridges. It takes up a decent amount of real estate. I have been primarily using it as a drink fridge for the family. Drinks surprisingly take up alot of room in the fridge. I host my extended family fairly frequently for dinner so we end up using the ice box and buying ice for drinks. This actually helps alot alleviate that need. It has decent storage space and is a nice supplement. Having a mini fridge is also nice just to have some extra space. Our primary fridge is not that big so this also functions as an overflow fridge. It definitely keeps things cold and runs fairly quiet. All in all, this is a great mini fridge that does what it needs to.

Love having a light and no freezer to worry about defrosting. We keep our soda pop/ tea drinks in it along with kool-aid jammers in drawer. Works well so far,, we keep on back porch for summer and will bring in for winter. Our old one /different brand (no longer make) lasted about 17 years on porch all year long.
