It is much better in several ways. It is available in several lengths, It is a larger diameter, looks good, works well and is made to last. Would recommend this replacement for your Apple products. Best Buy is my first choice for electronic products.

I had 3 cords I purchased off Amazon and they didn't even last a year and all of them stopped working at the same time, I've been happy with all of my purchases from Best Buy, I should know to go there first.
