I didn’t realize how chaotic my setup had gotten until I looked behind my desk one day and saw what basically looked like a snake pit of cables. Between my work computer, TV, PS4, two monitors, and a sound system, everything was fighting over outlets. That’s why I grabbed the Insignia™ 4’ 6-Outlet Power Strip, hoping it would calm the chaos a little. Honestly, it helped way more than I expected. The first thing I noticed was the build—nothing fancy, but it feels sturdy, like it’s not going to crack if it gets bumped by a chair or kicked under the desk (which happens more than I’d like to admit). The 4-foot cord ended up being perfect for my space. It reaches exactly where I need it without stretching across the room or adding more clutter. Once I plugged everything in, the difference was instant. My monitors and TV come on clean, my PS4 doesn’t randomly restart, and my sound system doesn’t make any weird hums. It’s small stuff, but you notice when it’s not right. This just works. My favorite part is the power switch. At the end of the night, I hit one button and the whole setup powers down. No crawling under the desk, no guessing what’s still running. It’s made my nightly routine simpler, and it keeps my energy bill from creeping up. It’s not some high-tech power hub, but it’s solid, reliable, and honestly made my workspace feel a lot more put together. For something I bought just to get my cables under control, it’s turned into one of those little things I end up appreciating every single day.

It seems like every house needs multiple power strips nowadays with the number of electronics we all have where this power strip by Insignia checks all the boxes at a reasonable cost. Right out of the box the build quality is very solid. There`s no unnecessary bulk here as it is very compact. The cable isn`t bulky, but at the same time isn`t a cheap flimsy cable. This power strip is also designed with versatility in mind where it has non-slip feet if you`re simply going to sit it on your desktop, but it also has the built-in keyhole slots on the back if you prefer to mount it to a wall or the underside of your desk to keep your cables organized and off the floor. With power strips a big thing for me is the actual plug as I always insist on the flush mount plugs that are at an angle so that you are not using an entire outlet for one power strip. Here the flush mount, low-profile, angled plug fits that perfectly. Especially behind a desk it makes for a cleaner setup and allows you to push your desk right up to the outlet without worrying about damaging the cord. Overall, it’s a reliable and practical solution for anyone needing extra outlets for lamps, chargers, and everyday gadgets while keeping your space looking neat and professional at an affordable price.

The insignia 6 outlet power strip is a very nice basic power strip that is priced right. The four foot length is moderately sized for basic use. It is actually a nice size for a desk and not too long as to leave you with too much cord slack. The power strip is also very light weight. This makes it easy to travel with without weighing you down too much. I also like the way the outlets are spaced and spread apart. You can easily plug in multiple power adapters without them encroaching on each other. The white color is nice as it matches a lot of charging cables on certain devices. Keep it mind that it will be more noticeable as it gets dirty. It also has holes on the back so that you can mount it on your wall or on your desk. There are a few things that could be better. The on off switch is very flimsy. I feel that it may not hold up to multiple operations. I could be wrong. It also lacks any usb ports. I understand that those features would add to the cost of this budget power strip, but there are many other options out there, at this price point, with those features. Overall i feel that the insignia power strip is a very good value. You can confidently purchase this and get the most of the 6 outlets it provides.

This 4 x 6 power strip is Exactly what the title says. Six outlet power strip with a four foot cord and an on off switch. It does not have a built in surge protector. The plug is a grounded lay flat style to help with fitting under a desk or furniture or behind a cabinet on the wall. It has an approximately four ft long cord and a three by three layout on top. The outlet box is around one inch thick with all six outlets on top. I’ve used it for a few weeks and it seems to work well. I have had no issues with unexpected loss of power. The power on off switch works well and is easy to use. They is no information in the box other than safety. I’d recommend this power strip for use as long as you do not need a surge protector and do not need a long cord. The top outlet provides plenty of space for full use of all six outlets to not block each other. It is also oriented for all the plugs to face out from the middle so they provide enough space to fit all at once. This was priced accordingly for what you receive

Well for one thing it has 6 outlets being 3 prong; 3 of them on each side, and there are no USB A or C charging ports of any kind and this seems your pretty basic type of power strip. It is slim enough and compact and such and really does not take up too much space. I have one with the same number of outlets but however it has a battery backup side - but even with without takes up a larger footprint but these are probably older ones from the late/ending 80s to 2000s. There is no power led for indication whether its live with power or not, or just flipped on/off. The plug is flat with a right angle so no protruding from the outlet like some power strips are so no issue with close quarter to plug into like behind a bed, desk, etc. Cord is fairly long enough I believe and I just have an Apple TV streamer, PS5, and gaming monitor connected for the time being. But as how basic it is, reasonably priced and its home and office use.. definitely a space saver of a power strip and will be great for any setup.
