Inexpensive programmable remote

Insignia remote

Was a little difficult getting tv code working. On Amazon TV a new TV none of the codes worked but after several attempted got automatic recognition method to recognize this new Fire TV. Also for both TVs was difficult to get TV volume working but after much effort figured it out.

Only Halfway Useful

This remote allows me to change the channels, but there isn’t a way to change the inputs. Basically, you can’t change from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2, for example, unless you manually hit the power button on the tv itself.

great universal remote

Needed on that could be used for an Insignia tv and Samsung DVD player that had lost their remotes but were less than 1 year old. Could not program RCA so tried this one which is already preset for Insignia tv and only needed pairing with Samsung player. It did that easily enough.
