If you want to use Setup Method B (which most people probably do), the manual is written wrong and does not work. To address this, reverse the order of Step 2 and Step 3. Then it will program properly and works exactly as advertised.

Easy to use and connect to my television. Not confusing whatsoever.

This remote was easy enough to start up and use. I found the code right away and set my T.V up. I was disappointed that the remote did not include batteries. Luckily I had just bought double AA batteries and had some on hand. Otherwise, I would have taken off even more stars.

Easy to set up. Works like a charm. Most universal remotes give me problems, but not this bad boy!

Does exactly what I needed, a dedicated remote for insignia tv

This is a low cost remote and as such does not have all the extras but is very functional. It was easy to follow instructions for programming and works great. Was not able to sync to my off-brand streaming box. Only negative is that it is limited to controlling only 4 units. But for price (especially when on sale) it is a great unit. Time will tell on durability.

Remote works good for my tv & DVD player does the job its sample to use and good price

I bought this remote on sale, so it was an excellent value. I got it primarily to control an older Yamaha Sound Projector (soundbar) that I was afraid the volume buttons were beginning to wear out. Easy to program and works great. My only negative is that you are limited to the functions of the "generic" Yamaha audio controls. In other words, I can not select different sound modes (theater, club, etc.) or select different inputs to the soundbar. In addition to my TV, I have a music streaming box that I play through the soundbar. I can't change the input source for the soundbar with the remote. I have to use my Yamaha remote for that. That's OK, since I don't do that too often. But it would have been nice to have that ability. If it could do that, or was a learning remote where you could program any individual button, this would easily be a five star remote. As it is, it is almost one, but not quite. It definitely has a quality build and feel. All in all, I'm very happy with this remote.

I love this remote,very easy to pair and use, has for tv ,dvd,soundbar,and a streaming device,work great for all major brands,the buttons are very soft rubber ,and fit on the hand very ergonomic which is a plus,since you use the remote alot ,it nice to have a great feel fit on it, buttons are very clear and smooth and a decent size not too big or small..i love using this and for the price cannot beat it.

We use this remote to control the smart TV, Tivo, and the sound system hooked up to the TV. It works well, was easy to program, and easy to learn how to use. I wish some of the buttons were labeled. but all in all it is a good remote.

Needed this for an old DVD player I was using to run a Halloween projection. Very easy to set up, and very easy to use. Considering getting a couple more for my other devices, since some of the remotes baffle my girlfriend. These would be much simpler for her to use.

I tried to make this work but failed looked up on the internet for help the instructions that came with this remote not very clear. after several attempts gave up just did not work with my Tv and my TV is only 4 years old. I returned the remote.

I was so skeptical about buying this remote but this thing works great! Works well with the Comcast remote. The help button works great! It learns and saves SO much time troubleshooting why something isn't working well. .....I'm a tough grader or this might have gotten a 5?rating.
