I tried, it lasted for about fifteen minutes while I tested it. Turned off television and the lights starts flashing. I tried the three other ports on the television and same result. I would not recommend this at the full price, especially if you don't have a second, third and fourth backup plan. I paid 8 bucks and I'm lucky enough to have a USB in the outlet behind the television, if you don't have that you may be disappointed, as I was.

At first when I opened it I thought it would work great. But when I went to install it the solder where the wires attach broke free without any type of man handling. The kicker?? I bought it in early Dec and try to install now. Looks like I can't return it or have it replaced as per BestBuy.com. Thanks!!
