THe charge times are pretty much identical and the transfer rate of the 3.0 USB is lightning fast. All in all this was a great purchase.

I was trying to replace it, but they don't carry it any longer. This works fine, and they were so helpful in the search for the cord I needed. It was a busy day in Best Buy, but they were helpful, and so courteous. Some stores could learn from them.
