It does, however, NOT work with my USB car adapter while the Samsung charging cable that came with does fine. So this one is my designated charge while at home cable while the official cable sits in the car. Which is slightly annoying.

The only downside is cable length. Opt for a longer length if you are using with a smartphone or other portable device.

My only complaint is that it is much shorter than the one that came with my phone. I did not see any that were longer, which would have been nice. But the cord does it's job and I have no trouble connecting it to my phone to charge or transfer data.
