It does last longer than the cable supplied with my Samsung Galaxy. i wish it was a bit longer and like all charging cables it does wear out - the previous one I had (same item) needed to be replaced.

The charger that came with my phone only lased 9 months was well cared for but stopped working properly. I only gave 4 stars because I felt it was a bit pricey at $19.99 just for the cable alone without the plug.

Phone charger cord
