Although the phone and tablets come with their own chargers (not a car charger however), the cables wear out fairly quick so it's good to have spares. I bought this for vehicle use and am satisfied with its performance.

It does last longer than the cable supplied with my Samsung Galaxy. i wish it was a bit longer and like all charging cables it does wear out - the previous one I had (same item) needed to be replaced.
