When you start cooking you may want to turn the power down depending on what you are cooking and then make adjustments to a hotter setting. That said this is a quality product. I love the pans that come with it. You don't see that potential for durability anymore and they come included. Got this on the deal of the day. Love a value purchase.

I wanted to test to see if I would like induction cooking and I like it so much that when it comes to purchase another range it will be induction. Personally I think I can control the heat much better than gas.
