Nice unit, but underpowered for me

As it turned out, that was not the case, it took about the same amount of time to boil, which isn't bad for a hot plate, just not what I was looking for. For someone who is just looking for an extra burner, or a portable one, this would work great. As others mentioned, the included cookware was on the small side.

There is maximum control for the amount of heat and only the pot gets hot. Another great use for this is that if you have lost power and can't cook, this cooktop does not require a lot of energy so it is perfect to use with a small generator. Induction cooking is the way to go. The pots provided with the cook top are of high quality also.

I like it and it boils water fast.

Very stable base that seems to take hold of well weighted pans, which makes for a safer cooking platform. Be sure to functionally test any pans you have before cooking. Overall very satisfied.
