    Perfect for the car

I have a single USB port in the car console. Wasn't sure if this would work until I hooked it up. It turned out perfect. The hub is small enough to mount (with those 3M velcro like stickies) to the inside compartment of my car console. Run multiple USB to lightning/Nintendo 3DS/old style idevice wide connector cables to the hub under the cover. Amazingly, this transfers enough power from the built in port through the hub to charge the devices as well as allow the music to play via USB. Fit my needs perfectly. I had tried another slim hub previously (forget brand), but it didn't provide power to devices.

Great gadget to simply add USB ports

Excellent for adding additional ports. Small and convenient to carry, inexpensive enough to lose without feeling too bad. I bought this for a specific low end, low tech usage. Well aware this is for building a mobile docking unit. I may even get another because it is just good to have with me and at the office. For me, I have multiple security check devices and standard desktop devices that require USB plugs. Works great for my specific use case.

Nice portable hub for laptops that need extra ports for external hard drives, SD card readers, microphones, and mouse/keyboard. Also work with current generation consoles; I use this to help charge controllers and headphones. Nice price, easy to travel with.

    Overall a good product

Works just like it says it should. The cord is a little short, and hangs off my Surface, but luckily is light enough that it doesn't cause any problems. There is a spot on the back where you should be able to fit the USB plug in so it lays flat, but the cord doesn't reach to fit. Overall though, works for what I need it to. Seems to be a little laggy with just a wireless mouse and small thumb drive, so I'm not sure how well plugging 4 USB items would do.

I bought this small and light weight product because I wanted to play guitar hero with two guitars and a mic on the ps4. All three required a usb but the ps4 only has 2 usb inputs. So this device allowed me to play with all three. I have not tried this on a computer but it worked for my purpose.

I had thought about getting a hub for a long time. But after the lockdown and switching to work at home, I wasn't transporting my laptop each day, and really needed something for the extra hard drive, microphone, and other items. This Insignia 4-Port does the trick. It is not fancy, but it is way more than adequate. I use it when I need to plug in my external mic, HDMI for the external flat screen AND the HDMI/USB converter that allows me to use my video camera as a webcam. All of those items would not fit into the ports on the laptop. With this hub, they can. I don't experience any lagging or other problems. I can't imagine what a more expensive unit would do differently. I have been extremely happy with this one!

These square shaped 4-port USB hubs are VERY helpful to me, since my work, laptop, and home computers lack enough USB ports for the peripherals and flash drives. Beauty of these ports is that I tuck one in my laptop bag where the power cord is kept. And, no need for finding some wall plug to plug in the larger size USB hubs that require that for their 6, 8, etc. port USBs. Thanks to Best Buy for STILL offering this design, even in today's USB 3.0 times. None of my three computers is USB 3.0 port yet, so these USB hubs work fine with my USB 2.0 flash drives.

I was constantly switching one USB port from my headphones, to camera, to charging devices, etc. This cheap purchase was the solution. I have no problem using headphones and Camera at one time for virtual meetings while charging my tablet and/or cordless keyboard - all at the same time - no more switching/pulling/pushing USB ports/connectors. People have said it needed a longer cord but not a problem since I leave everything plugged in. They may make the cord a bit longer on future versions.

I bought this device on the same day I was purchasing my new computer. I plug in so many items that I needed to ensure I had enough USB ports, so I bought this device. I have no issues with the items plugged in. They all function as if they were plugged into the computer directly. I connect an external hard drive, desktop cooling fan, the end for my mouse to be wireless, and the end for my wireless drawing tab. I have no issues with any of these items being plugged in.

I love these. This is actually my second one, while the first I purchased a couple years back for my Mac mini. I purchased this one to use for my Mac Book pro in combination with my USB C adapter. Let’s face it, there are not enough pariphials that have a USB C connection. So with only having one adapter on hand, I’m able to connect other devices with this hub. My iPhone charges and transfers just as well using the standard lightning cable while using a Blu-Ray drive and or graphic tablet all at the same time. At such a great price, you can’t beat it.

I should have bought this many years ago. It is so nice not to have to hunt for an open USB port when I want to attache a camera or some other device without unplugging what I already have attached ... or feeling around in the back for an open port. I put sticky Velcro on this and it's usual home location so I could move it or take it with me if I wanted, but still have it not go sliding around on the desk. It is a GREAT, CHEAP, HELPFUL ADDITION!

I can't tell you how many gadgets I have that use different outlet plugs or the same plug that needs to be changed at the same time into my computer. This hub is a great solution for laptops or electronics that only has one port. This is what you need to solve all of those problems. it recognizes different brands of plugs and works perfectly. highly recommend.

I have 3 USB ports in my laptop. I have to use headset and prefer a "real" keyboard and a "real" mouse. That's my 3 ports. My employer added a USB drive recently to boot from and I didn't want to work without my keyboard and mouse. My tech support recommended a USB hub. My main concern being, when I plugged it in, would it fit next to the filled USB my headset was plugged into? It fit perfectly side by side and performs well.

This 4 port hub is a necessary addition to my tablet/laptop. It has only one USB port, and I cannot run a mouse, and use a flash drive simultaneously without the hub. The price was reasonable, and it was available for store pickup. I did buy a USB extension so i could place it under the desk, but I would have likely done that anyway.
