Bought this to add more USB ports to my MacBook Pro. Since I'm a graphic designer/photographer I tend to have several things I need to hook up at once. This hub was exactly what I needed and its perfect size to travel with. I just wish it was USB 3.0

This hub has allowed me to connect my larger monitor, my external hard drive and a flash drive to my computer and still have an open USB slot. Good price also.

I have purchased 2 of these items. They are handy to use when there are too many things you need to plug into your laptop. They work well and keep everything need and tidy.

my wife's laptop only has 2 ports, and (unbeknownst to me) she had been switching her mouse, printer and scanner every time she needed to use the other... *facepalm* when i realized, i recommended she get a usb hub. since her company is pretty strict about what they allow to be plugged into their laptops, we asked if they recommended any in particular. they suggest this one, and it's been extremely helpful in working from home as she now has everything that she needs (e.g. mouse, keyboard, printer, & scanner) plugged in and port to spare.

i was searching online for a usb hub, and started reviewing and the insignia seem to have a good rep so i went for it, it's been 1 month in and so far so good, i'm using it for my wireless mouse,keyboard,internet wifi, and i switch from 2 home pc towers, so it's doing its job instead of me disconnecting all the wires, went wireless and the insignia 4-port. hope this helps you decide. can't speak on internet speed or how fast it can be, each provider can differentiate, i have a ebay wifi chip, fast enough for me, internet browsing/shopping/ multiple pages at the same time.

Great for multi plugin USB very handy for external drives and charging on the go. Easy to carry and pretty much gives multi plug-ins.

This port is great for any devices (phone, camera, etc.) that need a USB port. This is a great price for a USB port that can be used with a MAC. It allows you to keep using your existing electronics with new laptops, tablets that do not have many USB ports.

4-port is compact and easy to use. The driver was automatically downloaded and the 4-port was ready to go. Worked as I hoped!

I liked the small, compact size yet still offers four connections. Worked fine with the two items plugged in. I opted to return it after realizing the new laptop did have two USB plugs as sales person indicated it only offered one.

Simple design, Nice and compact. 4 ports just enough to add a few small devices to my server. No need to open her up.

It's a perfect size and can be hough anywhere in pocket I would definitely recommend it worked great on my Xbox one x and my Nvidia shield tv.
