Not sure why this isn't presented as a KVM switch in the name, but it is AWESOME for the price. I use it for my Keyboard and mouse and it toggles between a work PC and my personal computer. It's also very compact.

It's a good little item that works as intended and not too expensive

Had a previous unknown brand that was laggy and eventually broke. This feels well constructed and works just fine.

I use this to switch between a work laptop and a personal desktop that I use same keyboard, mouse, and USB to aux for audio. This makes it easy to switch between devices quickly.

The switch worked very well, was small and looks decent, and was easy to set up (read: no set up at all lol). One thing that it didn't work for was a headset I have that has speakers and mic going through the same USB but that's on me and not the switch itself.

Worked great as advertised. Only need to plug power if wanting to get full data transfer speeds. Otherwise, if only using it for mouse and keyboard then no need to plug the power cable.

Needed more plugs for a computer that didn’t have enough ports and this product serves that purpose. Quality is good and I appreciate the ability to switch between two devices

Very versatile unit which allows you to share peripherals between two computers at the push of a button. And the price is really great, too. The physical layout is just somewhat awkward, though. It would have been nice to have all the connections at the back of the unit to avoid clutter.

There is an expected 1-2 second delay when switching inputs. Gaming mouse DPI and features are fully functional through the USBs.

I wanted a device so I could use my keyboard, mouse, webcam, and microphone on both my desktop and laptop, and this works perfectly.

No real issues, has a bit of a delay when switching between devices but nothing major (2ish seconds). Otherwise throw some electrical tape over the really bright blue status light and you're all set

I believe this is the best version of the Insignia 4-port USB hub available on Best Buy. It's the thinnest and smallest, it has a 2-computer switcher button, it's 3.0 (3.1 Gen 1), and it's the least expensive. I bought this so I could hook up a web camera, Bluetooth mouse, LED light, Stream Deck, and microphone to record videos. The only downside is that it doesn't seem to transmit data along with the power, so it doesn't work with my webcam or microphone. It powers them, but doesn't transmit data, so there's no signal. Keep that in mind if you're looking for one that does. Those are more expensive and often have a separate power source. They also have fewer ports. So there's a trade-off. In any case, this hub, combined with the 3 ports on my laptop, are enough for what I want to do, so long as those two data-driven devices are plugged straight into the laptop.

Not having to use two sets of peripherals between my work computer and my gaming computer has been a dream! Highly recommended.

What can I say. It works. I have is connected to 3 USB hard drives and a HDMI display adapter. It xfers data 2 10 MB/s so the USB disks are limited if more than one is used, but since they are backup drives all works well.

Works perfectly, no issues, the profile is great, my use is probably very different than most but it’s excellent. Also glad the cable isn’t integrated, that’s the main reason I went for this.

Excellent product! I connected the Insignia 4 Port USB Hub to my desktop and Surface. It was very easy to setup and works great. This is highly recommended.

Great item, very smooth transition between devices

The usb hub works well. What I find highly inconvenient is that it does not come with a power supply, and you need to purchase a cable and a charger to feed the unit. However, even without extra power source I can read CF cards, USB keys.
