This thing is great!! I hooked up my keyboard, mouse, and two headphones to the Insignia 4 port hub, leaving four available slots on top of my computer, and I now have 2 slots left. 5 out of 5 stars!! GREAT ITEM!! Great value, great product. A must-have!!

Excellent USB port expander that eliminates the issue of not having enough DC power available when multiple devices that require the maximum USB 3.0 port power are connected.

It works as advertised. You can plug 4 3.0 devices with no issues.

My new Samsung computer only has one USB port so this multi port was a fabulous purchase!

This product worked well for having extra ports to connect my monitor & other devices. However the connection in the back that connects it to my computer has broken. This needs to be made sturdier to prevent this from happening. Otherwise.. it initially worked well for what I bought it for.

Bought 2, daisy chained them together and thay work perfect.

This Insignia 4-port USB 3.0 hub is great for any workspace. It is fast and easily powers multiple devices, while the metallic gray finish looks modern and professional. It's being powered is perfect for external drives and other high-demand peripherals. It is compact, dependable, and well worth the price! The USB-C connector is a great feature, a leap into the future.

It worked but the connection for the usb cord that goes from the hub to my pc would not stay connected in the hub unless the cord was sitting a certain way. 3 days after my ability to return the hub, the connector broke off inside the hub, as you can see in the image, which now makes this a complete piece of junk. It's a coin toss with Insignia. Unfortunately I lost this toss.

It's been about a month and it works flawlessly with standard USB 3.0-3.1 devices. The power cable is nice and long. The power adapter is a standard USB brick, which makes it nice to replace if and when it goes out. It's a smart design. Highly recommended as it performs as well as the $40-$60 powered hubs. NOTE: Do not use extensions cables on these ports that are longer than 3-4 feet though because most powered hubs, including this one, lost connection with the device...especially SSDs connected with the non-powered SATA USB connector. This is just a heads-up. It's not a limitation of this hub, rather it's a reminder NOT to use one on any hub.

Did that new computer only come with one USB A port and you have two printers, a keyboard and a mouse that need someplace to plug in? Well, this is the answer to that problem. Hooked it up to the new computer plugged everything in and it just works. The extra long USB A cord lets you hide it behind the computer out of sight. There is a power cord for it- So it might not be the best option for a laptop. And the price was twice that of other options.

I am happy with the price, performance, size, shape, and durability. It is what you need if you need it.

I have a VR headset and I had switched to a fiber optic cable. I also installed a hand tracker to it. Neither Windows nor the headset saw the hand tracker, let alone the VR software. I was told I needed more power via a powered USB hub. I bought this, and saw no change. It worked as it should, but that wasn't the problem. Support told me I had to plug the headset directly into the type C USB in the back of the PC. Voila! It saw everything and worked as it should. So even though the powered USB was functioning, for some reason, having it between the USB on the PC and the headset, caused problems. No fault of the powered hub, mind you. I think it worked fine.

Good product, friendly user. It worked perfect to transmit information to one of the USB drive into the laptop. No problem at all. Easy to carry and a good size not to lose it. Good design and not to bulky. A little bit problem to connect the charger coming with it, but it could be handle without any problem.works perfect for me!

I have an old computer not a lot of ports and having to take out to use other things needed at the same time. This has eliminated the headache!!! Works wonderfully!!! Thank you

It's a quick well built bullet proof 3.0 4 port hub. It comes with its own power supply but of course can be used without it when no power is available. One thing that I thought was unusual was the 3 foot cable that came with it is military grade. Big thumbs up! It's well worth the money I paid for it and if I needed another one, I'd buy this one again, without hesitation. I hope that this helps you in making a decision, PeaCe!

I bought one for my desktop, and then I bought a laptop as well that didn't have enough USB ports for what I needed. I really like this product. I highly recommend it if you need addictional ports.
