This hub is replacing a failing hub that disconnects all the time and I couldn't be happier. It's solid, works well and comes with a long cord so your hub doesn't have to be 2 inches from your computer. Would buy again.

I purchased this hub due to the electrical current requirement of a sophisticated piece of audio test equipment, which is USB powred but requires more current than normalloy supplied by a laptop. The separate power supply packaged with this hub did the trick, allowing my equipment to function properly. Once installed I had no further problems. The included cable connecting the hub to the computer is of excellent, heavy duty quality, and sufficiently long to make installation very easy.

I'll put it this way: the moment I finally decided to drop $28 on this, got it home, and plugged it in, I kicked myself for buying as many $7 unpowered hubs as I had. This is a sleek little box with good speed for a good price.

This usb hub is great if you’re needing extra usb slots on a laptop or something. Most laptops only come with 2 usb port's so it’s nice being able to connect extra peripherals using this hub. Also, it’s powered so if you need to charge something, you can.

Absolutely surprised by the quality , for been a store brand one , of this USB HUB, is great that it also allows you to get the external power supply in ,that grants it ,power delivery abilities for the USB 3.0 , and 3.2 devices , this works great also as a USB expansion for a Google tv , and Phone , and also can be use with a USB c adapter , so you can be sure that you want face , any dropping connection issues with you devices , and transfer ,this also worked easily , plugged on a Tv , so if you are thinking about getting a good Hub fro the buck this is the way to go ,

I bought this so i could concentrate several devices in one location for charging purposes only. It is very compact and can acomodate 4 devices at one time. Price was very reasonable and works perfectly for what i wanted.

This USB hub is for those who have a desktop or laptop that doesn't have enough USB 3.0 ports. Does a fine job of recognizing USB peripherals.

This product does exactly what it says it will, adds 4 ports to your computer and powers them. I would give it 5 stars were it not for the fact that it causes powered products (like external hard drives) to spin up regardless of if the computer is on. Nothing a bit of port management can't deal with, but a small point of detraction nonetheless.

The Insignia 4-Port USB 3.0 Powered Hub works exactly as expected. All four ports deliver fast transfer speeds with no slowdown, even when multiple devices are connected. The powered design is great for external drives and accessories, and the metallic gray finish looks clean on the desk. Simple, reliable, and well worth it.

If you find that you have run out of USB ports on your computer then this guy is a great solution if you only need a few more ports for the job. The devices I have connected work well and it is pretty much sit it and forget it once you have connected the devices you need. For reference: I run a stream light and a secondary camera off this hub and both are responsive and work well.

I purchased this to add more usb ports to my ROG ally. It works great and I have not had any problems with it whatsoever. I do however wish it had some more weight to it because it slides around easily.

Works as intended, no issues with it. Works with my USB sticks, external SSD and NVME drives.

Nice (smaller) size and form factor. Works well on the desk. Seems to easily power IPod, IPad and phone.

The product does exactly what I need, ensuring full power to all attached devices and to computer. The only downside is that I should have purchased one with more hubs. Four just isn't enough.

Works as intended. It is light in weight compared to my original one. I like the long cable cord with usb at the end of it. (Previous one was short cord, so I had to buy extention. But didn't need extension with this model) Recomend this one.
