This cord is exactly what I was looking for and is the perfect length for what I need it for.

I first bought one of these to have a spare charge cable for my Galaxy Note 3, which can charge with a standard micro-USB cable, but does so more quickly with the extra contacts of a USB-3 connection. I don't actually use it for data on my phone. But then, my gf and I picked up a pair (one for each of us) of Seagate 2TB external HDs for our laptops, and what do you know? They use USB-3, too! But they each came with a connection cable that was only about 6" long. So....a couple of these and we have a) more flexibility in placement of our portable HD, and b) a short cord for recharging my Note 3 on-the-go from a portable recharge pack. win-win!

I lost the cable for the external storage that I use for my xbox one. It works perfectly. It's a bit but oh well I couldn't find anything cheaper on the market.

Got the product, opened it and as soon as i plugged it in worked perfectly fine i use it daily and love it and really recommend it. No shipping issues or connection issues either 10/10 product.

It’s a special USB wire by Insignia. I use it for my external hard drives, so I can back-up my files. There isn’t much else to say, but I strongly recommend backing-up your computer files on a regular basis. Please do it at least once a month. I got lucky, and I feared my info was gonna be gone after not backing-up my files in almost a year, but I got lucky, and I was able to back-up my files before sending it to Apple to be repaired. Thank God that I was able to back-up my computer before having it repaired by Apple!

My original cable was fraying and working intermittently. I obtained my replacement and it working superbly.It is sturdy and has delivered my charges flawlessly.

This simple cord works well and has lasted me over a year, still working like it did the first day. There's nothing very special about this, but it does the job and comes at a good price. I'd purchase again.

I bought this to have as a back up to use with my portable charger or for in my car it works great and fits tighter in my s5 than the original cord and the price was great!

This brand is very reliable and reasonably priced. The cord is very thick compared to the original one that came with my phone. I'm glad that I went with this brand.

I bought this to replace the very short cable that went with my external drive. It does the job well.

Got this as a second carry along cord for my husband as his phone was always dead. It has since become his primary. Provides quicker charge and is pretty sturdy.

Great fine product works wonderful really helps keep my phone charged as the day goes on while i am driving down the road. I use my phone so much through out my day that it was extremely hard to make it through the day with out my phone going dead and this just works so well. Great product awesome works extremely well it was extremely hard for me to make it the whole day on a single phone charge and now it is no problem because I am charging while I am driving down the road I travel a lot so it was hard to keep the phone charged now that is not even a concern for me thanks to this product.

Had to hunt down a special Samsung only cord. Just got it, but it charges faster than other cords. Looks like it should last. Wasn't too expensive.

Got this for a gift for someone and they were happy to have it so they had an extra cord for the office. It was liked and works well. The price was not bad at all.

When i misplaced my charging cable for my Samsung Galaxy S5, I had to do some research of places that still sell stuff for the S5. I had no luck at other stores, since this product is no longer being sold. Before calling it a day, I went to my local Best Buy store to see if they had it. And turns out Best Buy still sells stuff for the S5. I'm happy to report that the charging cable works fine and its great that Best Buy still sells stuff for the Samsung Galaxy S5. So if your a Samsung Galaxy S5 owner, go to Best Buy for a new cable.

Seems it difficult to find USB 3.0 Cables these days in a brick & mortar store. Glad I finally found this one. Good quality!
