We were traveling when without warning the good old travel USB that we keep in the mortor home for my phone and tablet went bad, overnight. Fortunately the guys at the Best Buy store there in Tarentum PA at the Mills Mall recommended this cord and told me it could fit into the existing charger,saved me $$ and it works. I learned something new and was grateful for the $$ savings too. Did not have to replace the entire charger apparatus.

In fact, this cable saved me. All of a sudden, my external PS4 hard drive stopped working, and I was so mad because I thought the hard drive was broken. I decided to buy a new cable and try. This cable got my hard drive working again and I was so happy. This cable is made with high quality too.

I have an external raid, Cineraid, for video editing. I purchased an Asus G750jw a few years ago. The 1st one to show up at the Baxter MN Best-Buy. That's another story. I needed a replacement USB A-male to a mini B-male. Not micro. It has to be 3.0 per Cineraid spec. The only cable at the store says 2.0, so I was not going to buy it. I did buy it on the off chance it might work. Nope. I will return it. For a USB 2.0 it is probably just fine. In a test I ran it achieved close to 40 Mb/s (Blackmagic Design Read-Write Disk Speed). So for 2.0 there shouldn't be any problem.

Husband needed an extra charger and this one works very well. Durable effective faster charging time.
