Only been a week, but I do like how it is easier to undo the phone from this cord, than I do the one Apple provided for the phone. Hope these last a long time. The Verizon cords did not last long.

It charges the new phone as well as it did the old one. It's a bit stiff, but that's no problem since it's so well built.

I've used it only for charging an iPhone with the 5w block charger, so I can't really say much about data transfer. I give it 4 stars since it's worked fine but can't really tell if it'll stay that way in the near future. Hopefully it will.
