I know how disheartening it is when things don't go as planned. As there has been many models of iPod during the years, some use the lightning connector on this cable, others use the older one 30-pin cable. I paired this with the insignia USB-C wall adapter and it charges just as fast as the Apple wall adapter. 53% in half an hour of charge and reached 100% in a hour and 9 minutes.
