I have a ton of cables, some were last minute purchases because I forgot to bring one an some have been thoroughly researched and purchased. The Insignia - 7" USB-C to Lightning Charge-and-Sync Cable with Braided Cover falls into the later of those categories, but if you happen to pick one up last minute it is a good purchase. The price is under what I would expect to pay for a cable of this quality and certainly less than other branded cables, which in my honest opinion aren't as good. The packaging is consistent with the quality. The cable is true to size, measuring 7'1" tip to tip. This is plenty big enough for almost any application, home, traveling and in car. The cable has a USB-C end and Lightning tip. The tips are a rubber/vinyl with aluminum exterior so they will last. The tips also have a hefty rigid silicone type bend guard for long life. Considering this is where most of my cables go bad it is nice to see a heavy bend guard. This cable has worked flawlessly with every charging cube and device I have used with it to date. Charging and transfer speeds, although not measured, seem to be consistent with other high end cables I have. I would definitely recommend this cable.

Verdict. This Insignia cable could have been just another boring cable… But it’s actually as good as a cable can be! It’s 10-feet long, so you can use it in virtually any situation. It has a cable management system, so it’s easy to use in small environments, like on a flight, and easy to put away. And it’s braided, so it should be protected from small damage and wear-and-tear. Initial impressions. It’s a nice-looking cable. The braiding feels smooth and durable. The cable length is substantial at 10-feet, but the cable management system makes it manageable. Performance. First and foremost, the cable works! It is certified for lightning and USB-C, so you will not get any errors or warnings on your phone. The cable management strap is fixed onto the cable so you will not lose it, which is an important detail; other cables come with a strap but I often lose the straps after a while because they are not connected to the cable. The strap has multiple sizing holes so you can use it to manage any length of the cable you need to use regularly, for example, if you primarily use this cable on a plane while traveling, you can uncoil just a foot of cable and readjust the strap so that the other 9 feet remain organized. And when you need the extra length later, you can further uncoil the cable anytime. Things I love: - White color - Smooth and tight braiding on the cable - 10-foot length! - Cable management strap - Certified standard so it always works - Fast transfer speed (480Mbps) - The connectors are small enough to fit into most protective cases - USB-C to lightning is what I need now to connect to computers and my new charging blocks Overall, this Insignia cable is wonderful! The price is in line with a high-quality cable, and a better bargain than original cables from phone manufacturers. This is the longest cable I have and I love its versatility. I highly recommend this cable!

I've been using Insignia 4' USB-C to Lightning Charge-and-Sync Cable with Braided Jacket for over a week now to charge my iPhone in my car, and it has been working great! It needs a USB-C to USB adaptor to work with a cigarette lighter socket, but luckily I had one handy, so that was non-issue. The braided cable is very durable, unlike the flimsy original cable that came with the phone. I already own a braided cable by another brand, which I have been using everyday at home for years and it shows no sign of wear and tear, so I'm confident that this Insignia cable will last me for a long time (if not forever!) I compared the Insignia cable to the Apple's original cable side-by-side (see the photo), and there is no contest in which one looks more durable. The 4' length is perfect to use it in my car without the cable being too long and getting in a way. I wish the cable tie had snaps on both ends, so it could be taken off it not needed without cutting it off. I noticed that my phone charges very fast and that's another bonus compared to the original cable. With Insignia cable, I can plug my phone between my errands and it'll charge my phone in no time. Insignia - 4' USB-C to Lightning Charge-and-Sync Cable with Braided Jacket is high quality, durable and reasonably priced, and I highly recommend it!

I thought that a cable is the same as the next but it is not the case, this cable is good for a few reasons. The first reason is the construction, it has a braided jacket so it does not peel or pull easy, it is basically well made. I take this cable with me as well because I am not worried that something will happen to it. The cable does not take much space, it is thin when it is put away and I like that it comes with a silicone fastener to keep the cable from getting tangled while I bring it with me anywhere. This cable for me is useful because I have a PC and an iPhone so having the USB C from my pc to lightning iPhone connection is a lot faster than using the USB A to lighting. Both the speed and charge is much better and faster at 480 Mbps. I like the way it looks, it looks great on my desk because most things are white so it blends in and it is long enough to charge my iPhone. I like the cable, how it looks and how well it works, fast and easy to bring it with me anywhere.

This cable seems very resistant and has worked flawlessly to charge my iPhone and iPad. It worked out of the box as expected, which is the most important part of any cable. I was wondering whether by not being an Apple brand it would sometimes work and sometimes not, but so far, I haven’t had any issue charging my iPhone 14 and my iPad. I got the 7’ long cable but now I wish I had ordered the 10’ long one. I thought 10’ would be too long but this cable comes with a very nice embedded elastic band that can keep part of the cable nicely wrapped (see the picture I’m attaching). It has multiple holes to adjust to the thickness of the part of the cable that you want to keep folded. This means that you can easily shorten the cable to suit any size you want while keeping the extra cable nicely concealed/wrapped. I also really like that the cable is braided. It feels super sturdy, way stronger than the regular Apple cable that comes with the iPhone. This is great since I have some Apple cables that after some time they start to peel off. I highly recommend getting one of these cables!

This pretty four-foot USB-C to Lightning cable is practical and beautifully made. It's braided cover is designed to withstand up to 15,000 bends for improved durablity. I don't have a practical way to confirm that spec other than trying to bend the thing 15K times which I think would be a little silly. This cable comes in premium packaging and appears to be built to last. It is MFi certified and compatible with all Apple devices with a Lightning connection. For those who may be thinking, "Isn't Apple ditching the lightning connection on the iPhone? Why would I need this?" I ordered it becuase I will certainly need it for the foreseeable future. My iPhone 15 has been ordered, but I still have two sets of iPods that have to be charged, and no way that I am going to update either one of those just becuase Apple may change the connector. This handsome cable will be getting the job done for me to charge up those devices for some time to come, and I am looking forward to using it as long as it hold up. And considering that it can take 15,000 bends, this cable may outlast yours truly!

I've been using the Insignia USB-C to Lightning Power Cable for a few weeks now and I'm very happy with it. It's become my go-to cable for charging and syncing my iPhone. The durability and quality feel of the cable is fairly impressive, I don't think i'll need to replace this cable for a very long time, if at all. At 4 feet long, its the perfect distance to reach from my socket to my nightstand to allow it to charge overnight. The cable provides up to a 480 Mbps rate of data transfer which is super fast and allows my iPhone to quickly charge. It is Apple MFi licensed meaning this cable was approved and tested by Apple so you can take comfort in the fact that is a quality charging cable. It also has ultra-slim connectors that make it easy to connect and disconnect your device without removing your case This cable also has a a nice reusable zip-tie attached to it allowing for easy portability and storage for future use. Overall, if you're looking for a solid quality charging cable I would highly recommend Insignia's line of charging cables.

I recently got to try out Insignia’s USB-C to Lightning charging cable, and as far as charging cables goes, this is a good one. Overall, the cable looks and feels good, it looks like it is made of premium materials. It looks like it will last me a very long time, the box says it is braided with 15,000 Bends for improved durability. This cable is of course, compatible with Apple devices, such as iPhones and iPads. I received the 4 foot length cable, I wanted the cable to be long enough for me to reach it far, as I already have other much shorter cables. Only time will tell, of course, but this cable should last me a long time, I’m not worried that the cable is going to snap, or crack, some chipper cables break, right at the tip, this cable looks very sturdy in that sense. It’s MFi certified with anybody wondering about that, and the data transfer rate is up to 480 Mbps. In other words, very fast and very reliable, like I said, this cable will last you a long time. You can’t go wrong with insignia products.

Excellent charging cable for durability and charging capability. My iPhone recognizes the charging cable every time without any problems. The 10' length is the longest cable I have owned, and it's a really useful cable for multiple purposes. I love having it for multi tasking while I'm working on the couch and watching TV. My power outlet is further away and therefore I needed a longer 10' charging cable to reach over to my couch location. The lightning to USB-C works very well as long as you have the correct plug for it. As for the durability of the cable, I have found it to be very sturdy. It's thick and flexible for many situations in my home or car. The cord is a nice white/gray color and goes well with the Apple motif. I have been using this with charging the iPhone 13 Pro, the iPad, and also charging within the car port. The charging cable isn't flimsy like the basic cables that Apple issues. This cable will surely last me for years due to the quality construction and design.

This is insignia USB-C to lighting cable is all you need to charge your iPhone. I use it for my iPhone 13 Pro Max and it charge the battery faster than any other chargers. I connect the USB-C to my iPhone 20w wall adapter and my phone charges within minutes. The length of this cable is 7’ and it’s perfect if you use it in the car or on the bedroom, the braided jacket makes the cable durable enough that will last, I have an old version and it still works well. Works fast and well when transferring files to my computer or sync with my iTunes ( 480 mbps). The connectors are ultra slim so I don’t have to take my phone protecting case off to use this charger. This charger is all you need to charge your iPhone, iPads, iPods that has the lighting port. This same insignia charger cable comes in three different lengths : 4’, 7’ and 10’ and the In white color. Pros: fast charging- durable braided jacket- 480 mbps sync- flexible 7’ length- Apple certified. Con: does not includes a wall adapter

This Insignia USB-C to Lightning cable has exactly what I look for when I need a new cable. The quality and feel of it is just top-notch and because it has a braided jacket it feels really durable and won’t tangle and kink like other cables tend to. At four feet long, it is the perfect length to have my iPhone plugged into the back of my iMac and have it in-hand comfortably. In other words, there is no tugging while there is also not too much cable to deal with on my desk. It is MFi (Made For iPhone/iPod/iPad) certified, meaning Apple approved it to work with their devices. It also comes with a one-year limited warranty. The cable provides up to a 480 Mbps rate of data transfer and works seamlessly with my phone. Because it is a USB-C to Lightning, this cable charges faster than regular USB-A to lightning cables. I have been loving how fast my phone charges when I plug it in with this cable in comparison to my USB-A cables. There are times when my battery is depleted but I need my phone on hand, and this is my go-to in those moments. Just a few minutes is enough to boost up the battery sufficiently that it gets me through to the end of the day. I really like that it includes a silicone cable wrap. It helps keep everything neat and tidy, which is a priority for me. I wish all cables came with one. If you need a durable good cable, this is it.

Insignia cables are a great affordable way to go! This one is braided, 7 feet long, lighting to usb-c. Does exactly what it’s supposed to. I like the flexibility of the cord, it’s not stiff. Moves around easily and is a great length for most situations. Plugs in nice and easy with a familiar click. It charges up my iPhone quickly. It comes with a belt to wrap around it for easy carrying or storage. Nice and tidy so it won’t get tangled in a drawer full of cords! Overall this lightning to usb-c cable does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It is easy to use. I like that it has the belt to keep it wrapped up when not in use and I appreciate the braided texture of the cord. A good feature, so much better than those stiff cords that can be so difficult to manage. At 7 feet long I can plug it in and stretch it to my chair so I can still use my phone while it’s charging. There are other lengths and offering from insignia, and I’ve never had a problem with them. For the price point they are the way to go!

I've had multiple cables from Insignia and they never disappoint me. The Insignia 7' USB-C to Lightening Charge and Sync Cable with Braided Jacket is no exception. It works reliably well with your iphone, ipad or ipod because it is MFi certified and compatible with Apple products. It has the capability to charge your Apple device and transfer files. My family is always looking for cords so I like to have many available. The Insignia is definitely more affordable than the name brand and a little more flexible with the braided jacket which I like with all of the kid-handling. The 7 foot length also provides a lot of flexibility with where you're plugged in and possibly using the device at the same time. It's important to have enough reach so you can be comfortable while charging/using/transferring files on your device. I personally love and always choose white cables so these fit right in with my other ones. I highly recommend stocking up on these durable and affordable Insignia cords.

Many times the charger or data transfer cables that come with the devices we buy are not usually of the best quality and are not usually, for many people, long enough. Sometimes it is annoying to use the cell phone when it is charging and not being able to move even a little because the cable is short. With this 7' Insignia cable USB-C to Lightning this situation is fixed. The cable is long enough and charges the phone fast, the same for the transfer of information. In my case it is a very useful accessory as for example because of its length, it allows me to use it with my DJI Goggles 2 (that need to be connected to the cell phone) with confidence, so I can have my phone in my pocket and move without problems with the cable connected, quite useful indeed. The cable has an elegant design, the insulator is made of a fabric that prevents the cable from tangling easily, it is thick and strong, plus the tips are made of a very good material that seems to be resistant, (often this is the part that first breaks down of the charger cables). Actually I can say that this cable is a success of Insignia, is a good product that delivers what it promises and personally has left me satisfied, I can certainly recommend it.

So far the Insignia Braided USB-C cable hasn’t given me any problems. I usually get the “apple” replacement cable chargers because if I don’t I usually get an error message. I've had this cable for a few days and seems to be working just fine with no error messages. The material seems well made and looks like it will last a long time. The ends are always the ones that always become damaged or loose but this one has a plastic finish to them making them more sturdy especially when pulling in and out of your phone charging port, I currently have the 4 ft cable which gives me the right amount of length needed for my everyday use. The Insignia Cable comes with a nice rubber band attached to it, for easy storage and keeping everything nice and tight. The phone charging is also very quick. It Also works to transfer files which I have not used for that yet. Like most charging cables you buy, this one doesn’t come with a wall charger/plug. So if you don’t have one then you will need to buy one. I honestly think that these products should come with their own wall charging, other than that works great with my iphone.

Now that the iPhone 15 is out one may wonder if a lightning cable is still useful. It is if you have an iPhone 14 or older. And let’s admit it that Apple’s lightning cables are not of the best quality durability wise hence making you consider third-party but Apple (or MFi) certified cables. By being Apple or MFi certified, you can be assured of full compatibility as compared to original Apple accessories. The Insignia USB-C to lightning cable is one such device. Being an Apple certified accessory, you can be assured that the Insignia cable will charge as good as the original and also perform the same as the Apple branded cable when it comes to data transfer. What differentiates it from Apple cables is its build quality. First the Insignia cable is braided which makes it less prone to ripping. Also, the ends are made of a seemingly metallic material most likely aluminum. There is a strong case as to why one should consider this instead of the original cable as a replacement cable or extra cable. It simply works like the original and is more durable. I'd say just buy and use it.

I needed a new type C to Lightning cable for my gaming room. I have the standard lightning cable that comes with the phone but it’s starting to get dirty and the end looks like it might break off pretty soon. Those things are cheaply made and only last if you keep them in one spot and never touch them lol. I have 2 young kids and they take those and mess them up. So I thought I would give insignia brand of cables a shot. I am used to buying the cheapo ones and they never really last and are not made of quality material normally. I have to say this cable is very nice and braided at that. I believe the new official cables are the same but I’m on an iPhone 12 Pro Max. 4foot is perfect imo. 3 foot is too short and 6 foot is way to long. It works well I have no complaints. I trust insignia as I have several products and they hold up well. Not much more you can say other than it works as it should and it’s nice. Im also sure that you can be rough with this wire and it won’t break, I did try to see if I could twist it up good. The price is fair considering it’s a name brand.
