Be sure to look at the inputs/outputs. There aren't any red/white outputs...only input. Had to buy a converter and optical cable to make head phones work. Best Buy didn't sell the converter in the store I visited, but Amazon did. Otherwise, this tv has decent sound and picture and is easy enough to use. Now that the headset works, Grandma is happy and I'm happy!

This tv is is user friendly and is great for the price. Very easy to set up. I was surprised how crystal clear the picture is. Tho the sound could be improved, I have a sound bar connected to mine which I previously had and prefer. I'm very happy with this tv.

I ordered online and was shipped directly to my house. It was well packaged and protected. In fact it was difficult getting out of the box. The tv was easy to setup. Works wonderfully with great color. The sound is automatically muted when you turn the tv on.

Just needed a newer cheaper TV for our nephew. He likes to play games and watch movies and with it being his birthday we decided to upgrade him. He works great for a kids room, or play area, would even be nice if someone needed a TV but didnt need one too fancy.

This will be my 3rd exact same tv. It shows a great picture and have never had any problems with them. I have another very popular brand name tv and have had nothing but problems with it. The Insignia Tv is easy to hook up and the remote is very user friendly.

I bought this TV for a bedroom. It fills that need very well. Setup was very easy. Picture and sound are excellent for a TV in this price range. My one disappointment was that the USB input can only be used for displaying stored pictures. Not audio or video files. The product description and specs stated that clearly, I just missed it. I am using a Roku 3 connected to an HDMI port on the TV. The Roku does have a multimedia USB input, so I can still get to view and listen to all of my stored media, via Roku media player. I would recommend this TV to a friend.

This tv was easy to set up, basically plug in and watch. Sound is good and not muffled. I bought this tv to put outside under my covered patio. The picture is clear and bright which is good for being outdoors. Perfectly happy with this purchase.

I recently decided I wanted to upgrade my living room tv from 32" to something a bit larger. I already had an Insignia which my only issue with it was there were only 2 HDMI ports. Outside of that I had no complaints. After looking at several options I decided my choice would be this 40" unit. Picture quality is excellent for a 1080p unit. I considered going 4k but since I don't watch that much tv I didn't think it would benefit me. I also considered going with the Roku smart tv but I already own a fairly new Roku so I didn't see a real advantage. Although that may be a consideration for those who want to stream content and don't have a device yet. For the money you cannot beat this tv. I've had great luck with Insignia products over the years and know this one will also serve me well. Well worth the price and five stars.

The television was purchased for senior citizens who needed a good Television without all the bells and whistles which would be easy to have connected to their cable service, light in weight and slim in size for placement on their credenza.

This tv has a great picture, and it is light as well. That's the other reason I got it. We take it outside to watch movies or special events when we have people over. To be honest I almost took it back to get a bigger one.

We shopped for a TV that was a great buy and had a great picture. We found that the Insignia brand was the Best Buy for our money and the size that we wanted for our bedroom. We are very happy with this purchase.

I picked this up for my retired neighbor. His TV was going out and he's never had a flat screen TV before. He is THRILLED. It was a little rough putting the screws in the feet, but once it was up and plugged in, it was ready to go. He loves the clarity of picture. and the price was really good as well. . . he is on a fixed budget, so that makes a huge difference.

This was a replacement for a damaged 39” Insignia. Easy to set up and use. Perfect size for wall mounted TV in bedroom. Good picture quality for the price.
