I am very pleased with the picture quality and ease of use. The only thing I wish it had are control buttons on the TV (for when I can't find the remote).

I purchased this tv for someone in nursing home. It has an excellent picture and is easy for him to operate.

Needed a replacement tv for my daughter. Wanted something bigger but not paying a lot either. Compared prices. Best Buy was by far the better choice. Had even Wal-Mart beat

Came home took it out of box put the legs on hooked up cable blueray player so easy the picture is awsome i would recomend this to everyone

Insignia™ - 40" Class (39.6" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - HDTV. This TV has surpassed my expectations and for the price it's a true bargain. The only thing I would improve on is the relatively flimsy legs/stand. I have to be careful when moving the TV around for different viewpoints as I don't want to break the legs. Otherwise, the picture is great, the sound is better than expected and I could not ask for anything less. I added a Roku stick to it and now it's truly a "Smart TV" without having to pay a premium.

This purchase was a steal. Great quality at a low low price. I always go to Best Buy for great deals. They never let me down.

The sound, audio, and features are exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, my store had it mislabeled as a different clearance-priced Insignia TV with identical features. My store price matched it because of their mistake. At full price, however, you can get an identical "smart" Roku TV which regularly goes on sale for less than this model. All features are the same except that model has "smart TV" capability. I'm not sure why this one keeps being featured so much higher with less features. There is no logic to it! I recommend this TV only if it goes on sale.

I purchased this tv to tailgate at football games. It is super light and has a great picture. I couldn’t be happier with the quality for the price.

I bought this TV for my mother (along with a Sony BD player) for her bedroom mainly to just watch Netflix. This 40" TV is way better than the tiny 24" screen of her computer. I honestly didn't expect much from a $200, 40-inch 1080p, TV but I was really impressed with the picture for the price. If you need a 2nd or 3rd TV for kids room, garage or spare bedroom I would recommend this $200 TV without reservation. Five stars for the great picture and very low price.

The Best Buy in my neighborhood had this TV on sale for $199 and look just as good as my Vizio 43" TV that costs 3 times as much, in terms of picture quality. It has 3 HDMI port inputs for 3 separate devices, which I utilize two for my FireStick and Roku box. You can also label each HDMI input as you like, so when changing the input, you no longer have to guess what is HDMI1, HDMI2, HDMI3, but you can put Firestick, Roku, etc., for the input label.

Got this TV for my Mother in law after hers Died.. The tv is light and works well for its application. NO smart functions which is fine for her and she hooks up to regular Cable box nothing fancy. ONLY ISSUE IS THE RF input .. It is internally lacking good RF shielding which in my situation with poor grounded old electrical in old house causes issues. IE when powering lights on RF input is blanked out. This is due to poor shielding on RF tuner side and OLDer home electrical grounding. Using HDMI is no issue.

Love this tv. Upgraded to this one from a 36". Picture is good, Netflix are amazing to watch on it!
