We were looking for a TV to replace one in my son's bedroom that was working intermittently. This was a little bigger than we wanted, but the price of a smaller tv was more. It works great and the remote is easy for him to use.

This was one of the best TVs for the price good picture as well.

Awesome TV From Picture To Sound My 9yr old grandson is so happy to have this in his room !! You can't go wrong with Insignia Brand TV We Always Had great luck and got on sale for great price so thanks Best Buy that's why I shop non stop inline at best buy as I know I'll be taken care of !

My son wanted to upgrade his TV at Christmas 7 months ago this thing has performed flawless and has been an excellent TV. He mostly uses it for gaming but watches TV on it as well has been nothing short of impressive.

I needed a new television but did not want to go to thise really big screens that take up so much room but I did want one that was larger than what I had. The 40 inch seemsvto be just the right size for my space. I also did not want a smart tv because I do not have Internet and it would be a waste of money to pay for tge extra features.

This TV is the best you can find at the lowest price. I use it with a PC and that's why I love it as the TV turns on automatically when the PC is turned with my Smartstrip powerstrip. Great picture, speakers OK and I would recommend that you use a speaker system with this TV.

The Insignia 40" LED HDTV is a great TV. I purchased it after reading reviews and am not disappointed. I am not a super techy person, the sound, color and picture are perfect for me. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a decent size TV at a great price.

I use it as a monitor for the desk top , my last one gave up after 14 years .Just wanted a basic TV no extras . From the computer to an HDMI port ,no problems and the picture is much better . Never realized that the other one was slowly dying , live and learn .

Bought this for my daughters room to connect to a ps4. The sound stopped working after a day so I took it back and got another. Easy exchange process. Took about 5 minutes. 2nd one works well and picture is better than the higher priced Lg that it replaced.

Though this is not 4K (2160p) TV, sufficient picture quality is obtained for general purpose. Besides, though I connect this TV with my PC for YouTube, etc. using HDMI cable, I don't use Internet TV like Roku. So, this TV may last longer without the complication related to unnecessary Internet-enblement.

Great TV for the bedroom. Speakers aren't great, volume fluctuates wildly. Watch at 15 for some streaming platforms, 60 for others to get the same volume. But that's to be expected in a cheap flat screen like this. Small soundbar fixes that problem.

So many TVs out there from which to choose. Great TV for this price point. We use our ROKU stick and think the picture is quality and user experience is intuitive.

Nice television for the price. My first flat screen TV. I was able to set it up myself. Programming was easy, not complicated if you don't know much about electronics. I had trouble matching it to my universal remote from my cable provider. The remote that came with it is simple to use. All in all, no complaints.

I purchased this TV right at the turn of 2019 and have enjoyed the product. Its a basic, non-smart tv that works good with my Roku. I opted to put the tv on a wall mount and even the sound quality is decent. For the price, I have enjoyed the product.
