The picture and sound are outstanding. The tv is very user friendly and took less and 10 minutes from box to watching on it. I am happy with TV, especially for the price.

After pricing large PC monitors, I took a chance and purchased this 40" Insignia for that purpose. This is my 3rd Insignia and love them all.

For the price TV seems to be working. Setup was easy. Had to turn off voice on remote. Drove me crazy every time you turned up tv it would talk.

This tv is perfect 40in 1080p best buy beat all other walmart, target etc. low cost upgrade from a 32in and pick up was simple and quick.

This is the perfect size for a relatively small space. My only complaint is that the volume isn't that loud, but I may put in a sound bar to make that better.

I almost purchased the 39 inch 720 Insignia for $129 before coming across this 40 inch 1080 for only $10 more. I didn't want a smart tv because I wanted a normal remote and I don't want to talk to my tv to tell it what to do. Shortly after purchasing this tv the FireStick was on sale for $29 so the setup is complete. I have 3 Insignia tvs: 26,32,40. No problems with any. Very happy with this brand. Also I now have 3 FireSticks and have a wide range of viewing options with these and my outdoor antenna.

I got this tv on Black Friday for a good price . It’s a bedroom tv it replaces a 27in FAT BACK TV. It’s a major improvement over that tv. I like it a lot . Best mode is Vivid

I purchased this TV as a secondary option for my Gaming in which I use a Xbox One S & A PS4 slim both of which don’t support 4K but paired with this full 1080p 60Hz HDTV still provide a beautiful picture. Great option if you’re in the market for a more budget friendly HDTV although it does not have SMART features it’s still a great value for the price as I had actually exchanged a different HDTV for this one the original HDTV was a LG 720p open box TV that came with no remote for $15 dollars less.
