We love this TV. We recently moved and needed a tv for the living room and saw this for $100 and change. I thought it was a pretty good deal. It literally came the next day with no box scratches or indents nor cracks in the screen. I did not think it would be as light as it was when I picked it up. It fit perfectly on our ikea tv stand that I DIYed and the color/picture quality is beautiful. Its pretty sharp, nothing to complain about. It was easy to set up too.

I was looking for an inexpensive television to put in the study. This set was very easy to set up, and the picture is surprisingly excellent for a standard HD television. In use for several hours each day and still excellent. Sound quality is quite good for this set as well. I'd happily consider Insignia products in the future based on this experience.

This review is for the Insignia 40" Class LED Full HD TV. This is an excellent TV for an excellent price. I purchased this TV for use in our guest bedroom and I am quite happy. Note, this is not a "smart TV" and I did not want a smart TV. I use a Roku stick and an external OTA antenna and that is all I need. The picture is great and the size is just right. If you are looking for a bedroom TV and don't need a smart TV, then I highly recommend this TV.

We were looking for a 1080p TV in this size range for my mother. We didn't need any smart features to complicate the set, just the ability to connect a few external boxes. This one fit the bill for a good price. It was light, easy to set up, and works great.

This tv has such a clear picture, my snake watches it for hours. Seriously. It's absolutely beautiful. The price is fantastic. I read the reviews before purchasing and was skeptical about the sound quality. The speakers are not in front, but most tv's aren't. You can however adjust the sound and that helps tremendously. Not only that, but at this price, pick yourself up a soundbar and you're all set. Though I don't even use it. Be sure to sample all of the video preset settings too for whatever you're watching. What an amazing difference! This is truly a gem! Just buy it!

After dealing with another store (and a not so great pick-up and return experience that required a 45 minute wait each time), as well as deciding after said purchase and much subsequent research that I did not want a smart TV, I found this one. I decided to purchase it, even though it was the "house brand". With the low price, which made it easy to choose the 5 year warranty and free shipping I had little to lose. One concern was it being delivered in the original packaging but I made sure to be home for the Next Day Delivery! and the guy that came carried it like a baby to my door and made sure that I heard him knock because he was concerned as well about leaving it. Great customer service! I love this TV - the setup was beyond easy and the picture is fantastic, the sound clear & loud enough that I won't purchase a soundbar and it picked up more stations off of my antennae than my last TV did. It also has the ports I need to stream. I just may buy a back-up, that is how pleased I am. If you are looking for an HDTV, look no further.

It is so hard to find 'just a TV' now. If all you want are some HDMI inputs and a digital tuner to watch over the air, then this is for you. The picture is good. The sound from the speakers is a little quiet, but not awful. (There is audio out in case a soundbar is of interest.) The digital tuner is zippy - no channel-change-lag like on other manufacturers' TVs. And the setup menu is easy to use. Overall, this is a great value for the price.

This is our second Insignia TV purchase (we have a 32" as well) and I must say that I am blown away by how nice these TVs are, especially given how inexpensive they are. Both the picture and sound quality are much better than expected, and far better than on sets I paid much more for. The picture is crisp, clear, and bright, with excellent contrast. The sound is equally nice and rich. The included remote is very nice as well, although we use both of these TVs with Roku sticks, so we use that remote for the most part. We wall mounted this TV and it fit the mount perfectly. I would highly recommend this TV and the Insignia brand in general. You cannot beat this level of quality for the price.

The tv is wonderful.I needed a tv that was not a smart tv. It has a beatiful picture. If you are watching a movie, it has dobe sound and sounds like you are in the theater. It was so easy to set up and program tv. It was 40 in and only $200.

I bought this television to replace a broken television and I am glad I found this. I picked Insigna brand because I have an Insigna 24 inch television for a few years and it performs well. This 40 inch was at a good price and the picture is very sharp,especially for 1080 p content. television is very light and set up was easy. It is not a smart television which for me was good because I already had a Roku device.And that kept the price down.

ThusbTV is feather light and easy to move into place for wall mounting. I purchased a soundbar, just in case, but returned it because the sound is fine for our applicationnif thisbtv at the foor of a bed inna small bedroom where it will only have occasional use. We hooked up our Roku with ease and the picture is very very good, especially condieeing the low price. This 1080p TV was the highest resolution available in any tv of comparable size. We are pleased with it for ease of setup and use.

great value for the money.very easy setup, very good picture works great withalexa which is one of the reasons I purchased the tcl brand tv.was originally looking for a Samsung but they were out of stock of the model I was looking for and figured why not try this tv and worst case return it and get the Samsung.tried and decided to keep it

So I couldnt decide whether to buy this Tv or not. It seemed too good of a deal to be true. Decent size, decent price. I said eh, ill purchase and give it a try. As soon as I plugged it in and began watching I was amazed at the quality of the picture and the sound was the best part! Pretty nice speakers for a Tv this low in cost. I Give it a 5 stars!!

The TV works wonders! Was easy to set up and definitely a good price for the size! Fits perfect in my room! Was delivered with care! Will definitely go through Best Buy again for more products.

This was a great purchase! Light weight (for me), great sound and color. This is my second purchase.

Great TV for the money. If you don't need the "smart tv" capabilities, this one is a great value. Purchased this for up at the lake cabin where we don't have, nor want internet access, so smart features would be a waste. Picture is great, sound is good, and it works perfectly with Dish Network. It is also very light in weight which is a plus. Plenty of HDMI and other ports. We have always had good luck with Best Buy's Insignia store brand- excellent quality for the money, definitely beats the other "no name" brands other big box retailers sell, including the stripped down Black Friday models.

Pretty good TV. Got this for a business because one of our TVs stopped functioning. Set up and installation was easy and simple. Has a VESA mount too. We have switched to Insignia TVs for its affordable prices and lasting quality. For the price, the quality is equal if not better than our LG Business TVs.

Fantastic TV I wouldn't trade it for anything. The picture is very SHARP and clear and so are the colors and is very easy to work with instant success. I would buy it again

This TV has a clear picture and easy to use remote. It is very light and easy to connect to a wall rack. The picture options enable the user to set the color, brightness, and sharpness with ease. It is a good value for the money. It has good enough resolution tyobe used as a computer monitor, which the way I use it.

Very nice lightweight tv. We bought this to replace and older tv in the kids room and needed one lightweight to hang on the wall. This tv is just that, its a good size and lightweight. The picture is good, the sound is average for tv's now days. Overall we are very pleased with it.
