Happy with it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture looks very nice, but I was used to a 720p, and I watch a lot of stuff that's not in full HD anyway. But I also haven't had to use the sound bar I needed for my old tv. I wanted a "dumb" tv for my roof antenna. I connect a computer for everything else I watch. I was concerned about the tv tuner in a house brand. Nobody rates tuners, but I was told that Samsung had the best, and my old tv stopped getting a couple of channels that I could still get on a little Samsung in a bedroom. The nice Best Buy tv guy told me that he didn't believe there was any difference between tuners, and I should try the Insignia if a non smart tv was what I wanted. I guess just being newer was better, because the scan got me all the channels I was expecting to get from my antenna. There's 2 minor things I don't like. I would rather the up/down channel button on the remote be closer to the middle, instead of near the bottom, to be more comfortable in your hand. And I don't like that the info button only tells you what is currently on. My other tvs show what show is on next, too. I miss that when I'm just flipping through channels near the end of the hour. But, basically happy with it, especially with the bargain price I got.

Insignia TVs are simply amazing
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is our second Insignia TV purchase (we have a 32" as well) and I must say that I am blown away by how nice these TVs are, especially given how inexpensive they are. Both the picture and sound quality are much better than expected, and far better than on sets I paid much more for. The picture is crisp, clear, and bright, with excellent contrast. The sound is equally nice and rich. The included remote is very nice as well, although we use both of these TVs with Roku sticks, so we use that remote for the most part. We wall mounted this TV and it fit the mount perfectly. I would highly recommend this TV and the Insignia brand in general. You cannot beat this level of quality for the price.

Excellent Buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical about the brand, but I shouldn’t have been. It was easy to set up (just plug it in) and has an excellent picture. The cost, on sale, was so attractive I couldn’t resist. Excellent buy. Also, attached to a Roku it displays everything I want.

Nice display for a great price!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a nice sized television with HDMI connections, and a lovely display. This item checked those boxes. It was simple to set up. It has been very reliable and easy to use. This is my first Insignia, but it likely will not be my last.

Best bedroom TV here!
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I went to Best Buy to find myself a 40 inch TV for my room! Now, I did not need a 4K TV and I did not need an expensive one! I just needed one that was at least 1080p for the cheapest, I ran across this TV and for the price you couldn’t beat it the quality is excellent. The colors are outstanding for its price range! Go get yourself one now I’ve had it for a few months and it surpasses its price in performance!

Excellent Connectivity and Value For Money
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is a phenomenal value. The picture and sound quality of the built-in speakers is phenomenal. 3HDMI ports, RCA, Coaxial inputs make this TV ideal for connecting to game consoles old and new, VCRS or other old peripherals. If you don’t like the internal speakers, there’s an optical audio output. If you need a basic non-smart TV, buy this one you won’t be disappointed.

Great value
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this non-smart tv to replace a Vizio smart TV for my in-laws and glad I did! Suoer easy set up, picture and sound are great! The vizio smart tv took an update and it took me an hour to get it to work again. Couldn't just turn it on and start watching TV. Finally figured out I had to click on an app, reprogram the channels, and then still had to mess around with it to get the screen size back to normal. Had to do it again shortly thereafter because the power went out. Won't ever by another Vizio tv.

Solid TV!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Big fan of this TV! It's exactly what I needed and I couldn't be happier. I wanted a "dumb" tv in order to use my Roku, and this works perfectly. The screen size is well-suited for my bedroom, the picture quality is very crisp and clear. Set up was very simple and it's easy to switch between various modes. I have only owned it for a month, but I am so happy so far. At this price point, I felt like there was low risk and my expectations have only been exceeded.
