Great little TV. I bought this for my home gym for workout videos. I love how it has an audio out input for external speakers. Very reasonable price! High quality for a lesser known brand. No complaints on my end!

I love this TV! It's been working great. I've been happy with the color and resolution. It was easy to set up and to connect my DVD player and Apple TV. I feel like the quality is great for the price. I'm happy with this purchase.

Purchased for my mother. It is perfect for her as she is not into Smart TV technology. It's a nice size and has clear picture. The remote control is not too small for her hands and it has numbers on it (that's what she's used to!). Great quality and price!

I have multiple Insignia TV sets. For the money they just can't be beat. The color is so vivid, and the sound quality is excellent for tv speakers. Everything on the screen is as clear as can get. I've never had a problem with any of my sets, and I will definitely buy this brand again when the time comes. I do not work for Insignia or Best Buy.

I ordered to pick up in-store and arrived only to discover it was out of stock. It was a great price so I ordered for delivery. It was delivered a couple of days later. The setup was easy. The picture quality and sound are decent. Great second TV.

We bought this TV almost a year ago for my son so game on in his room. We love this TV only hang up is that it doesn’t have many controls on it, so if you lose your remote you can’t change the volume at all. Other than that, great purchase

Just brought this tv 5 days ago for my wife who is not easy to satisfy when it comes purchasing anything. For her to approve of this TV is a miracle. Picture quality is better than I expected and it is just the right size for the bedroom. Cant belive the price I got it for. Insignia is not bad of a brand if you are looking for a cheaper option with great picture.

For the price, picture quality and ease of us are all good. The TV is rather light, which made it very easy to mount on the wall. I think at this price point, all products seem to be about the same, we are good with this choice.

It's hard to find a so-called "dumb" TV (aka no built-in smart tech) these days, but that's what I needed. I have now bought two of these TVs and I'm very happy with both. Great picture, easy to use, easy to hook up to other tech. Highly recommend.

Setup was a bit of a chore but then I'm not that techno smart, but we got it and all is good except we now the volume level is not what we ha with the old one and we are using the same cable box as with the old Insignia Flat Screen. What use be a level of 15 is now having to up the volume scale to 40 or more on some channels. This TV is good for mostly basic watching. We don't game.

This was purchased as an inexpensive TV for my basement room with the exercise bike. I didn't need a "smart" TV, just a display for regular TV channels and a "smart" Blu-ray and DVD player. It has 3 digital inputs and an analog input for my old VHS player too. It set up in just a few minutes and everything works perfectly. In the on-screen setup it seems that you have to specifically designate the TV tuner with a label or it is somewhat difficult to designate with the remote... I appreciated the light weight when I placed it on the shelf. It also makes very nice 1080P pictures. :-)

So far, it has turned out to be a great buy. We had an older 40" flat screen, but the picture was starting to show dark areas, like there was a shadow over part of the screen. Very strange. This TV was connected to a cable box, but not hooked up to the Wi-Fi, so we never used it for streaming or any of that. So, when looking for a replacement, it didn’t need to be a “smart TV" since we’d probably use it the same way as the other one. Best Buy was having their early Black Friday deals and I happen to see this 40" Insignia on sale. Honestly, I didn’t know much about Insignia other that it was a Best Buy brand, but for the sale price, it was hard to pass up. Got it home and it was fairly easy to set up. I put on the legs, attached the cable box through the HDMI, the old sound bar through the audio input and the old DVD player through the AV plugs. It all worked great with a nice clear picture. The only weird part, it has a voice feature you can turn on, that tells you what you are doing, such as “Power on,” “Volume 15" or “Channel 10.” It’s sort of a creepy computer voice, which I find a bit amusing. But I’m guessing most people with just turn off that voice function.

This television was perfect for an elderly senior. 40” good size and not a smart Tv, which would confuse them to no end. Very simple to use, great picture and clarity. Great purchase!

The 40" is ideal for a smaller room. The picture is clear and the colors are vibrant. Set up was a breeze, no hassle there!! My one, and only, complaint is the volumne. Which is so ironic, because it was one of the things that drew me to it, reading all the reviews. Everyone stated it had good volumne, The volumne ranges from 0-100. I have to have this on at least 40, some times higher. Now, I understand what is being watched can have it's own volumne, and of course I have encountered it. In comparison to my old TV, that I replaced with this Insignia, the volumne was on 20, 30 would blast you out of the room. So, that's it. Good TV, but you may want to consider a sound bar.
