This tv is the perfect size and fits right on top of my dresser. It’s very to hook up to cable and my firestick. The best thing about my insignia tv is that if I lose the remote, I can use the other insignia tv remote to turn my tv on and off.

You can't beat the price of this Insignia 40 inch TV. While not UHD, the Full HD resolution is fine for nearly all uses since the screen is slightly smaller than the 43 inch models. Perfect for smaller spaces. Small footprint, and easy to use and program

It is a good tv for the money, was easy to set up, and has a nice picture. The only real issue I have is that for being a smart tv it won't download some app's.

The 40" N10 set is a bargain when it goes on sale. The picture looks fantastic for a budget set; it's much better than the 40" set I got years ago on Black Friday for around the same price from a no-name brand set (the brand is now defunct). Most people who don't know better would be fine with the built-in speakers but I'd recommend some external speakers (or at minimum, a soundbar). The viewing angle is pretty good, though if you are far off to the side you do notice some degradation of the picture quality. Keep in mind this is NOT a smart TV, so you'll need to buy and/or connect a device such as a Roku/Fire Stick to stream content. I set the TV to the Movie/Cinema picture setting and then made the following adjustments to my TV to get the picture quality where I liked it: Backlight - 15 (alter this according to your needs) Brightness - 48 Color - 40 Sharpness - 0 In advanced picture settings: Aspect ratio - Normal Overscan - Off Dynamic backlight - Off Color temperature - Warm Noise reduction - Off Dynamic contrast - Off

I purchased this for a rental property bedroom and did not want a smart tv. I found setup to be extremely easy and the picture quality was as expected. The price was extremely reasonable and I would say that the value exceeds the price. It really is the only choice if you are looking for a tv that does not need an internet connection.

Setup was simple & fast with a boosted antenna coax to the on-board tuner. Picture quality is very good with line and color definition obviously superior to the failing 20 yr. old vacuum tube model it replaced. I selected the size based on shelf space available. The AV input handled my DVD player. None of the HDMI inputs were used (no compatible devices). The digital audio output with a converter drives an analog amp/receiver and studio monitors with excellent audio quality, but is fixed level and does not track the volume settings of the remote...may have to reconnect from the headphone/audio out jack to the monitor system if there's no fidelity loss. The remote features are all useful and cover the operations needed.

Excellent for the money. I have two Insignia TVs as well as a Vizio and a Samsung. The Insignias are on par with the others. The others are Much bigger and need to be better due to the size but the Insignias are well worth considering. Excellent picture and features at a bargain price.

Very clear picture. Surprising light weight. Can't beat it for the price. The only issue I have is that the wall mount pattern is really low on the back. I expected it to be more centered.

Not bad for a secondary TV

Lets face it. This tv will probably not be your main TV, but for a secondary TV, work monitor, etc., this, as they say, aint bad. The colors are good and will be just fine, even through the tv's inability to give you a deep black level/contrast. This is a grsat TV for over a basement bar, kitchen...you get my drift.

I purchased this TV for a little girls room, it sits on a stand and larger than I expected. The graphics are pretty nice they use a roku tv for it and just as great quality as my samsung. Overall great quality for the price and immediate pick up that it was needed.

This TV is AWESOME for the price and you cannot ask for anything better, The picture is great along with the ports enough for any need. The sound is lacing but most of the new TVs lack in sound nothing a little sound bar can fix.

Bought this for an elderly relative and works perfect. it's big and easy to use, the control that comes with it has big buttons and easy to distinguish the volume and channel buttons since they have contrasting colors. since it's not a "Smart TV" it's perfect because there is no need to hook up a streaming service.

I recently purchased this 40-inch TV, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The picture quality is outstanding, delivering vibrant colors and sharp details that make my favorite shows and movies come to life. The size is perfect for my living room, providing an immersive viewing experience without overwhelming the space. Setting it up was a breeze, and the smart TV features allow me to easily access streaming services and apps. The sound quality is surprisingly good for a TV of this size, and I haven't felt the need to invest in additional speakers. Overall, it's a fantastic 40-inch TV that offers excellent value for the price.

It's a great TV, easy to set-up, and perfect for my spare room. The only issue I have is that the USB port is just a plug-in for a photo flash drive and not useful for connecting another device. I need a TV that I can plug my digital antenna into (they all seem to have USB instead of HDMI for some reason). When cable is down (which is often), I like to have access to local channels via antenna. I thought this would work, but it doesn't. But this was inexpensive and a great TV for streaming, so I'm happy overall. Still searching for the elusive 'cheap' TV with a USB port...

Nice, cheap little TV I bought to put in my home gym. Roku controls the volume so I'm not working with 2 remotes. It's very light so mounting by myself was easy. Viewing from the side is not the best.
