No complaints
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV. On my way to go by a third one for my last kid in line. They use for gaming and streaming. Good enough quality for them and cheap enough that if it breaks it can be replaced pretty quickly.

Good TV for the money!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV arrived as advertised approximately one week after placing order. TV was easy to set up and works well. Picture is good and the set is good quality overall. I really could not beat the price. I would certainly order another Insignia TV.

Great TV, but Bad remote...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV is great! The quality is better than I had expected. The only thing that worries me now is that the volume button on the remote is kind of messed up now. When I press up and down buttons, the volume has a mind of its own and goes to whatever number volume it wants to. I will try to fix this myself though.

Very light weight and easy to mount on the wall. I love how slim it is. The picture quality is pretty good too. I would highly recommend this tv for the price and size.

Great TV / After 1 year NO ISSUES
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV over 1 year ago for my bedroom. No issues with this TV. Works great and sound is also loud enough. I don't have a cable hookup in there and therefore bought a ROKU stick and I also stream from my laptop. Being 82 yrs old it took some effort to set up the ROKU but I got it all done. I just moved this TV into the living room since my 12 year old SAMSUNG just died. Hooked up to the digital cable box and TV works like a charm. I'm going to order a 2nd TV of this model again for the bedroom. I love that it's not a smart TV. So happy Best Buy still sells this regular TV model. Since I do lots of direct streaming from my computer from German TV stations this 40" Insignia TV is perfect for me. Works great and never had a problem

Love it
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this at a very good price, the picture is as good as our other TVs but what I love the most about this TV is I am able to move it outside to the patio and bring it back in just like a portable TV because it is so light and easy to carry.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV for my Grandma. It is just perfect. Good value TV.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good TV and a very good value. Picture, size, weight, etc are all good. Has plenty of inputs. The only thing I don't particularly like is the photo viewer app. It seems to want photos in a very particular numbering scheme to play in order.

Easy for seniors to use
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lighter in weight than what we used to have. And its easier to switch between streaming stick and regular tv channels compared to a smart tv.

Good Basic TV at a Good price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good basic TV with decent quality picture and sound. It fits into our room perfectly. This is not a "smart TV" and that is good- because you can customize. It does have 3 HDMI Ports, so I can plug in a Blu-ray player, a Firestick AND a Roku. The advantage is flexibility at low cost. Of course there is the cost of added devices BUT you won't get caught if, as happened a few years ago, Roku stops supporting the built in 'Maybe Not So Smart" feature- which could happen with a Fire TV also. This way you pay only for what you need- and can have flexibility with what you add- including the ability to upgrade if Fire Stick or Roku (or whatever else you use) puts out an improved model.

Bang for your buck
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent Value, all the feature I want and none of the smartv ads I don’t. This is a simple 40” LED 1080p TV. No smart TV complications, boot times, security issues or software updates required. Just turn it on and watch. It works well as a large HD computer monitor for those with older eyes. Plenty bright. Response times seem pretty good for casual and console gamers if you use the game mode. Surprisingly good sound options allowing delay correction to get sound and video to sync up well. Only criticism I have is that the colors get washed out when viewed from an angle. But what can you expect for this price. If color accuracy is paramount you might want to look at the IPS panels by other manufacturers instead. But for my dollar, this screen is the current sweetspot in early 2021.
