I got this during one of Best Buy's 1 hour flash sales for $130 ($150 w/taxes) it's not a smart TV, but I have an Xbox connected to it with all the apps I could need like Netflix, Prime Video, ESPN+, Peacock+, Hulu, etc. Picture quality is very nice, not that fast of refresh, but 40" for $150 it's nothing I can complain about. The one thing I don't like is the feet, they are mounted at a odd angle and make it awkward to sit on my tv stand. I may pick up a tilting, swiveling table-top mount for it, as it's standard 100x100 vesa. This was my first Insignia product and so far so good. I may pick up the 32" version of this for my daughters college apartment if I can find it on sale like this was.

I've owned this TV for about 2 months now. At first I was a bit underwhelmed and was missing my Vizio. That has changed and I've grown to like this set. What I didn't like at first was the sound. It is pretty flat and less than basic, even when not expecting much in terms of audio. As a bedroom TV though, I'm okay with that. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5. The picture is where this really shines. It has a lot of depth, good color and contrast. Nature shows and documentaries come through nicely. The remote seems reliable, though I programmed it to a universal remote. The legs are a bit flimsy, but similar to most other sets, so no surprise there. My only gripe is all of the connections are on the opposite side of any other TV I have dealt with (right side if you're looking at the TV). I had to rearrange my setup to make it work. Not a deal breaker though. Happy with this purchase now and would recommend.

Insignia is my preference to TVs on a budget. Caught this on sale (new). Picture quality great. They are easy to install and adaptable to streaming sticks and cable. This model does not have manual on/off.

I bought this for my dad as a gift and he loves it good quality easy to use

Great for a basic TV. I am using it for my PS4 and didn't need the Smart features. Saved me about $40.

I got this TV as a present for my teenage daughter. It was easy to set up. The picture is clear, the sound is great and the value is excellent . This is one of the best purchases we have made.

We purchased this monitor to allow for the viewing of our 5MP HD cameras. It has a great picture and color. It is extremely reasonably priced and very light, allowing it to be mounted on a moving bracket.

This is a no-frills, non-smart TV. And that's exactly what I needed for the application I have. We have a small guest house on our campus, and wanted to provide a TV, but didn't want the potential headache of someone connecting their streaming account to a smart TV, and then getting a call months later asking why people were using their streaming account on our TV. So this TV checked that box. It also checked the box of cheap, but still good. Picture looks very good for a $150 TV. Audio is lousy, but I expected that. Unless it gives up the ghost in less than a year, I'm very happy with this purchase.

It is a very nice TV, just the right size. We bought it for my elderly father. Our only comment is that the remote is a bit complicated for him.

This is actually the second tv from this brand and size I’ve bought because I liked my first one so much. This one I bought for my mom to have. The image quality is great and so is the sound. The sound does fluctuate depending on what you’re watching but I think that’s not a tv issue so much as a channel thing because it doesn’t happen on every channel only when I’m watching certain channels or steaming certain movies. Overall definitely recommend. I’ve used it with chrome cast, and Apple TV both old and new. No problems. I prefer it over smart TVs but that’s just me I liked that it was an affordable prize for a nice sized tv and that’s just what I was looking for

I spontaneously purchased this TV when I thought I possibly was moving and I did need one to view my paid channels. I honestly had never heard of Insignia and bought this purely on its price point and Best Buy awesome same-day availability. I couldn't be more happy about my online choice! I had no great expectations on the Sound Quality after reading some of the reviews so the first time I turned it on, I was most pleasantly surprised. The placement of the speakers on the tv project a clear and perfect sound. NASCAR races sound like you are at the track! I would buy another Insignia for this reason alone. Made me a happy camper!

Can't think of one thing I dislike about this product. Easy to use, picture quality is great, sound is acceptable and it's weight makes it easy to move. Would buy another if I needed it.
