Was looking for an inexpensive 1080 HD TV with no smart features that I could use with my previously purchased AppleTV HD Media Player. I planned to play it in a room in which I would be sitting about 10' away from the TV. The Insignia - 40" Class N10 LED Full HD TV was a perfect match and the price met my mark. The TV has an excellent picture right out of the box. I would have given this review 5 starts if it had better sound output from the TV. I attached an older unused tuner/amplifier with some speakers to increase the sound quality. Very happy with the product and price.

Awesome little tv. I bought this specifically to replace the one that came in our new RV that I already managed to break. I was hoping they would match up perfectly so as to fit in the entertainment center (arm mount) without needing alterations. I was wrong and it definitely did not. However, with the legs installed it sits securely on the shelf of the opening and is actually less intrusive. Use it with Apple TV 4K and the picture is more than you could want in that setting. The speaker volume on this tv is exceptional, no soundbar needed.

Great picture and light weight making it easy to mount on the wall. The remote is easy to use and nicer than the fire/roku remotes.

The Insignia 40" TV is a great bargain. Over the past years, I have been a fan of the "high" name TV's. However, I purchased this TV to use as a monitor for my com[pany ZOOM meetings. Just happen to turn it on and WOW! It has a great picture and smart interactions. I plan to purchase a larger one. Thanks, Best Buy -- Roland

Purchased this TV as a second monitor to a desktop computer used for new hire orientation. We use it for face to face and virtual orientation. It is large enough that a virtual participant can see up to six others seated together in a u-shape clearly. The video is sharp and the audio is excellent.

I own 3 Insignia tv’s . Very bright and clear and a lot less expensive than other brands. I bought my mother one as well.

We needed a 40 inch LED TV - we have bought Insignia brand before - very pleased with our purchase. So easy to setup. Great picture!

Short and sweet: I was looking for a tv to fit in an antique cabinet and, hopefully was NOT a smart tv. BINGO! It’s not OLED or fancy, just a basic HD tv. Just what I was looking for. The price was right, too. Works for me.

Insignia is Best Buy's own brand. I needed a new TV when my old one died. This one was on sale and I was STUNNED by the difference between my old 720 pixel picture and the NEW picture on this 40" screen with 1080 pixels. Salesmen at Best Buy informed me sound quality and longevity in new TVs is down. A sound bar compensates for the poor speaker quality and the price makes up for longevity issues expected in the future. The set is delicate, but the picture and 3 HDMI inputs for streaming are terrific. Great combination of quality and value.
