Great buy. Bought it for the backyard gazebo. The colors are nice and bright. The only thing is the volume is not too loud, you may want to look into a sound bar.

Bought this for a spare bedroom on a promo sale for only 99 dollars. Tv picture is okay and this is not a smart tv so you will have to pair it with a streaming device. I am using a Roku with it. Sound quality is decent for a small room and my only gripe is that the black levels are washed out and there is some bleeding when on a completely black screen. But for the price, I really cannot complain.

Bought it for my Daughters room and wall mounted. They both love it! Honestly 1080p id all anyone needs. Great picture and the oem remote works on our fire stick thats hooked up to it somehow. Overall im Completely Satisfied with Our Purchase!

Great downsize since we mounted we have so much more space. Clear picture and it's lightweight. Added a roku stick and made it a smart tv for a little of nothing.

Was looking for an inexpensive 1080 HD TV with no smart features that I could use with my previously purchased AppleTV HD Media Player. I planned to play it in a room in which I would be sitting about 10' away from the TV. The Insignia - 40" Class N10 LED Full HD TV was a perfect match and the price met my mark. The TV has an excellent picture right out of the box. I would have given this review 5 starts if it had better sound output from the TV. I attached an older unused tuner/amplifier with some speakers to increase the sound quality. Very happy with the product and price.

Love this TV! We bought it for our den/spare bedroom as we needed one that the grandkids could hook up their Xbox when they come to visit but without spending a fortune. Lots of HDMI ports for that. I also use it as a monitor for my desktop. I did not need a "smart" TV for either application, but I added a Roku streaming stick. Now I can watch sports or movies when my wife wants to watch something else on the main TV. Very good picture and decent sound. For the price, this is a great value for a second TV. My grandson's love the 40" screen for their video games.

The TV works as designed and fits perfectly in the space I put it. The picture is clear, with bright color and easy to operate. I recommend this for anyone.

honestly its a good TV. The sound quality is not bad for what you pay for, if you want better sound you can always get a sound bar! For me its just what i needed. no complaints! The only reason i don't give it the full 5 stars is because the picture quality might not be as good as some newer smart tv's.

Short and sweet: I was looking for a tv to fit in an antique cabinet and, hopefully was NOT a smart tv. BINGO! It’s not OLED or fancy, just a basic HD tv. Just what I was looking for. The price was right, too. Works for me.

Easy to hook up. Seamless programming. The quality of the picture is good. Sound needs to hooked up with surround sound to get the maximum sound. Overall for the price this was a good option for our home bar.

Owned this TV for a year with no issues. Impressed by the sharp, clear picture quality whether with or without added settings. While the built-in speakers aren't substantial, adding a mini soundbar is recommended. Gaming-wise, it's responsive with no latency, and the customizable gaming setting is a plus. A fantastic HDTV overall.

I wanted a 40" LED TV that wasn't a smart TV, and they are hard to find now. When I found this Insignia on sale I decided to give it a try, and I have been very pleased with it. It has 3 HDMI inputs, which is what I needed for my mini computer, Blu ray player, and Roku, and there are many adjustments you can make to get the picture and sound to your liking. After my adjustments, the picture has a vivid, sharp image and the sound is good enough that I don't have to be bothered with a soundbar. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommended it to others.
