I bought it by mistake thinking it was a smart tv. It’s not but it still gets the job done connected to my Roku device. Definitely a good choice for a bedroom

The picture is super sharp, and the stereo sound is fantastic! There was no technical set up needed as this is practically a plug-in & play model. The delivery was rapid-- the very next day. It would be an understatement to say, I'm very pleased with this set. It is deserving of all 5 stars!

This 40" is no exception. Good HD picture quality. Plenty of HDMI connectors. AV input. Fiber optic audio jack. Speakers are just ok. Exaxtly what i expected and appriciate at this price point

Picture is nice and bright, sound is loud, and the best part, it's not a smart TV! Don't waste money on smart TVs, it's best to just use chromecast, fire stick, roku, etc. You can upgrade them every two to three years for 25 bucks instead of your whole TV. I'm currently using this TV outdoors with a chromecast, works perfectly.

It came with everything needed. Picture quality was amazing. My daughter was beyond happy. And not to mention that the price tag didnt break the bank.

Not a smart TV but add my streaming box which I like better than built in systems. Purchase on sale which made this TV a very good value. I’d recommend a sound bar added to improve sound performance.

This has a fairly simple remote, similar to what he was used to using. Set up was simple and the picture quality is excellent.

I was going to connect a Roku to it anyway, so the fact that is not a SMART TV is actually a "feature". It replaced a SMART TV on which one of our most used apps stopped working. With this TV should that happen, I only have to replace the much cheaper steaming device.

The TV arrived in great shape and works fine. I wasn't familiar with the Best Buy "Insignia" brand but the picture is great - comparable to the previous Sony TV. I run the audio into my tuner/amp from the headphone output so I can't evaluate the TV's sound quality. For a hard to find "dumb" TV it's excellent.
